WTH happened to this show? Anne Hathaway was as giddy as a cheerleader, overly animated, trying too hard, over-acting, exhausting to watch; after her song last year with Hugh Jackman, we had such high hopes for her and that is probably why she was asked to host. James Franco looked bored, disengaged, like he had taken too much Xanax or Ambien or weed, smug at times, just a big waste letting Anne carry the weight of the show....so disappointing. I was so bored, I ended up cruising channels & checking back into the awards until the Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director & Picture were presented. I was hoping that there were going to be entertaining segments with both Anne & James....never happened. Billy Crystal's 5 minutes was more entertaining than Anne & James were the entire show....only wish Billy would return for next year's Oscars....miss him. Final score for the hosts this year: F, the show gets a D (only reason it didn't get an F was Colin Firth & Natalie Portman's wins & acceptance speeches...so classy).
