Now that the casting call is out, we want to see your best auditions for Leah, Seth and Riley. (6.2.09)
I am disappointed that I couldn't audition for Eclipse because its already complete-but I am completely EXCITED to see it on the big screen on 6/30/2010! I would love to be given the chance to audition for Breaking Dawn, I am totally vampire material! Furthermore I would like to express why it be a dream come true to be apart of something that saved me in my darkest hours during the beginning of this year. As I was lying in a hospital bed at UCLA Medical Center, the book Twilight saved me! In January I was told by my employer that I was being laid off in 2 weeks, as distraught as I was due to the fact that I loved my job; I was a Client Advocate working with battered women and children in a confidential Domestic Violence Shelter, I knew that I would survive, as I am a fighter. A couple days later I was feeling overwhelmed, feverish and my husband flew me to the ER and I found out that I had unusual fluid in my abdominal cavity. Now being born with Scoliosis in Santa Barbara, a city that had little knowledge on the disorder at the time , I was used to being sent to the Los Angeles area for all doctors appointments and surgeries. Needless to say when my soon-to-be ex employer came to visit me, bringing me Twilight to read while being hospitalized for months. I was terribly ill, I had to endure numerous surgeries and was extremely homesick, I was literally falling apart. So I divulged myself into Twilight and quickly became mesmerized by this incredible story. It was the BEST escape I could find from my depression of being "incarcerated" at UCLA Medical Center. As I continued to read New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn I thought to myself I could totally be a vampire!!! I could see myself as Carmen, the loving vampire that dotes on Renesmee or even Kebi, the mate of Amun that never leaves his side. To describe to you what I look like, I can tell you that others say I look somewhat similar to Eva Longoria with her dramatic eyes and long black hair. Anyways I would love to be cast as a vampire, it would be a dream come true! It would be an honor to even be an extra for the final battle scene. First and foremost, I thank Stephenie Meyer for her wonderful dream of the Meadow that inspired the Twilight series that ultimately brought me back to life. And it would be a dream come true for me to be given the opportunity to audition for Breaking Dawn. Best Regards, Kerri Zavala
