Exclusive Trailer Premiere
OK. I watched it on March 23. We have 2 main theaters in my town (University Of Illinois). The one I went to was full. An elderly couple next 2me said "2 for Spring Breakers"--I about dropped! There was a seemingly 14 year old girl with 3boys that seemed 10, 11, and 12. WOW! Most were late teens to upper 20's. The movie received an applause at the end. IT WAS AN AMAZING FILM. Everyone not affiliated with pop culture "hate" should go watch it. The movie. There IS an ARTISTIC, and REALITY, reason to the repetitiveness of some of the movie: If someone needs to explain the NEED for it, then people are becoming dumber than expected. There is also a reason why Harmony had Faith (Selena) fear being in Aliens (James) environs and while with a group of black men--which is when Faith made her decision to leave. Everyone fulfilled their roles amazingly! James? If Lawrence won (LOL) all those "awards" this past season, then James ought to win the Nobel and Pulitzer!!! If he doesn't win few awards come next year, then there is surely a pretentious and feeble committee in Hollywood. Both Selena and Vanessa did easily better than what Lawrence did for Silver...SPRING BREAKERS was an overall amazing production. It didn't do so well because most people ARE "hateful" towards Selena and/or former Disney stars.
This movie ACTUALLY looks Powerfully amazing! I mean in comparison to most, if not all, spring break or college party-like movies. This movie looks GRIPPING and CAPTIVATING. It seems great, specially for those with taste for movies.
This movie is for college age people. This movie is WAY different than EVERY spring break movie and college-party-like movies. This is for people who have taste, who are not bent on hate.
