You do realize that "The Great Gatsby" is a novel written by F.Scott Fitzgerald right. So, in all technicality the film makers aren't remaking a movie, but instead they are interpreting the novel. Just like theatre, where directors have the right to stage a play in a way they see fit, filmakers/directors also have the right to interpret a story the way they view it.
This looks way better then past versions of this movie and I think it will make a classic book 000amore interesting for this generation.
This looks really good. I wasn't even going to see it, someone told me that the book is not really that good. But now, I'm gonna have to read it and watch the movie too, lol!!
i saw the original years ago i believe i was in school. looks so different from what i remember. wow when is hollywood gonna stop remaking movies? not that it doesn't look good but omg!!! leave the classics alone.000a
