I admit the trailer's kind of funny, in a sort of "Love At First Bite" meets "The Brady Bunch Movie" way. But it'll prob. come-and-go in theaters in a short run. Had Burton played it straight & updated the original source material to make a modern-day gothic horror/melodrama however, it could've succeeded on a far greater level, reaching both the "Twilight"/"Vampire Diaries" audiences as well as fans of he original series.
