I am so freaking excited...its insane!!! Gary Ross really is trying to make us experience what Katniss is feeling, seeing, hearing, etc, Its just like in the books except I cant read her thoughts but Jennifer Lawrence wears it well enough on her face. PERFECT casting choice. She will be amazing. Looking forwards to it! :D
Ehh...it's not really what i expected,well hoped for. Still pretty good, but i cant get over her hair being so light. It should have been black or atleast a darker brown.

I havent read the books, but this frist little glimpse looks like its going to be an awesome movie. and absolutely love Jennifer Lawrence.
That was a great trailer. I remember that scene they showed when i read the first book. I imagined a darker forest when the fire balls were being targeted at katniss at that part though but still awesome. I like how natural j.lawrence pulled her arrow too.looking forward to new trailers. also, if people are hung up on how the boys aren't shown then i feel like those are the people who don't have a real sense of what the book is about. the voice of peeta's advice in the trailer is really symbolic to show who katniss is in the HG.
Life is awesome right now! The beginning music, Gale's dialogue, Katniss' face reaction, and the whistles at the end were all fantastic!!!!

Miranda you're right. I watched it a few more times and realized that. I'm just happy to get a glimpse earlier than November. I just hated the VMA's they were sooo boring. I just want to see Peeta and Gale to see how they do on screen. Jennifer Lawrence proves she can do great, but I want to see if Gale and Peeta will do good.
All I'm saying is that, what they ended up showing us wasn't even worth the wait, because it was hardly anything. I got all freakin excited for 5 seconds of katniss and 20 seconds to forest footage.

Well, Hemsworth should've lost his Aussie accent. I would not expect Katniss to have one, too as they're both from the Seam and should have the same ghetto accent.
Yeah because Twilight has Suzanne Collins (author of The Hunger Games HERSELF) writing the script of their movies, Academy Nominated leading actorS (PLURAL) in their film, phenomenally acclaimed directors (GARY ROSS AND STEPHEN SODERBERG), and DANNY ELFMAN and TBONE BURNETT composing their scores. Yup. Definitely cheap. *eye roll*
They aren't even done filming. What did you expect?! They told us countless times that it is a TEASER. THE DICTIONARY IS YOUR FRIEND if you don't understand what teaser means. A teaser is there to leave us wanting more.. which is exactly what it did.
