OH HELL YEAH! Been watching the progress of this project for some time. I am so stoked to finally see one of my favorite Korean actors getting a chance to shine in a major US production. Rain is already a huge star in SE Asia, and rightfully so. Besides his enormous success as a kpop star, he's done some very fine acting in several films and dramas. Love how the Wachowski's and McTeague decided to go back to using real martial artists and stunt professionals to stage their eye-popping action and combat sequences, instead of relying on computer wizardry to create the illusion of real action. I have seen some astonishing vids on the brutal physical training and dietary restrictions Rain endured to transform himself for this role, and others of him and the stunt crew doing run thrus of their intricately choreographed fight sequences. Here's hoping this film is a mega hit, and makes Rain as big a star stateside as he is in Asia. After the hell he went through for this film -- the intense physical training, doing his own stunts, even learning a new language for pete's sake -- he deserves it! Maybe it will finally open the eyes of some h-wood producers, and encourage them to consider some of the many, many fine actors coming out of Korea (i.e. Lee Jun-ki and Hyun Bin) when casting future films. Could also finally open some (western) eyes as to what constitutes male beauty in this culture -- Rain, and lots of other Asian actors -- are HOT!

dat's my baby...booya....it's about freakin' time this movie came out..he should be on Ninja Assassin 2 by now...lol...Can't believe he (Rain) did all of his own stunts in this movie...Well yeah I can believe that..
