I've actually lived in Southington my whole life, and plan to stay here for the rest of it. I'm glad we're getting recognition, but I am upset because of the way they depict us Southingtonians. It doesn't help that this movie was filmed in east butt hole Canada, but we're not small town, compared to other small towns here. Land wise, Southington is huge. And also, the house they show here, looks NOTHING like the actual house and the story is all misconscrewed. The should've filmed here in Southington, but the people who live there now do not believe in the story, have experienced no problems, and don't want to be bothered with press and what not. So, the film makers weren't able to get the real apartment*, not house! It looks like a house but is an apartment. Oh well, I'll still be going to see the movie. The documentary was pretty good, and I can go for a walk right now, and see the house, hahahaha.
I'm originally from Bristol, CT right next to Southington and never heard the full story until now. Below is a great article on the movie and the real story of the reputed haunted house. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1520382/the_haunting_in_connecticut_the_film.html?cat=40
wat da hell happened here
perfeitoooo!! vai ser d++ esse filme!!!
This is actually based on a true story from my hometown, Southington, Connecticut...and this is based off both a book and a documentry, its NOT Amittyville Horror!
Wow that looks kinda freaky BUT I've seen it before, It was called Amittyville Horror. :) Wasn't that movie based on a true story 2? EEWWWW was that an arm coming out of that boys mouth? Gross.
