If she has a hereditary weight issue "just loosing that weight" is not as easy as that. Not everyone has a wonderful or even efficient metabolism. It is a medical condition that people often over-look in favor of being shallow and choosing not to educate themselves about weight issues. Also as you see in this there is a large level of shame that people like her feel because of their appearance, this can and usually does spiral into depression and causing a whole host of psychological issues on top of the physical ones. Even if she did "just stop eating" she probobly would loose much weight if it is a thyroid condition or something, plus starving yourself is unhealthy and never an acceptable suggestion. She probobly needs bariatric surgery, which is it's own complicated and long process. Plus you gain weight in the beginning if you starve yourself. Try being a little more considerate.
Never be ashamed of yourself. They both should have been honest with each other from the get go. It's not just the outside that makes a person beautiful, it's what's inside that should really matter. However, I believe she should give mike a chance, I believe he would treat her like she deserves to be treated and make her feel like she's beautiful.
How shallow can you be!?!?! Mike was so genuinely honest when he said he saw no difference between your pics and FAT you!! You lost a great guy you shallow fat *****. Im glad this happened society likes to think men are shallow and all about looks, but honestly men will over look more about women because women always have guys who will lower their standards for sex. So women are more picky and selective even when they are not all that good looking. This is why I don't feel sorry for women who says they cant find a good man because they will pick the wrong ones for all the wrong reasons. Men wake up and stop feeling sorry for these women and their sob stories about not finding love they are just playing the victim

She's beautiful regardless of her weight. No one person looks the same. Even identical twins have differences. My issue with her is she has what she's been aching for in this guy Mike who she's not even trying to give him a chance because he's a big guy. She's right when she said she's completely contradictory about his appearance. When he saw her , in his eyes, he didn't see weight, he saw HER. And because he wasn't the body builder she'd been looking at for 12 yrs she's not happy. Forget the fact that he was there for her when her father passed, forget the fact that he can make her feel like a queen when she feels like crap, forget the fact that he looked past her catfish-ing him as well but he GENUINELY loves her!! She's ********!! She doesn't deserve HIM. I wish him all the luck in the world.

It doesn't matter how much they eat or exercise or diet. Overweight can just be hereditary where it doesn't matter how much you diet and exercise, sometimes those pounds won't go away.
Peoples metabolisms are all different. Eating right & exercising does not work for everyone. Surgery does not work for everyone! Society is most definitely cruel. It promotes that 10, 20 lbs is considered fat. Losing 10 lbs to someone who is 100 lbs overweight is easy, it's that other 90 lbs that will fluctuate & cause struggle. I watched my dad struggle with his weight all his life. He had the Bariatric surgery that reduced his stomach to the size of a golf ball. He shed the pounds off quickly the first year, but after that was pure devastating struggle to try & lose more weight. Sadly, he lost his battle last year when his lungs finally gave out from being morbidly obese. I myself struggle with my weight. At times, I would rather not go out in public. I don't want someone telling me I am beautiful just the way I am. I know I am not beautiful, but I am fairly cute for who I am as I am. People will continue to shun me, or point, murmur under their breath, maybe even look at me in disgust. But that is their problem, not mine. For until you have lived thru the experience of what others do daily, you have no right to judge or say how easy it would be if only..... Besides, a woman without curves is like jeans without pockets. You just don't know where to put your hands! Real men, love curves!!!
She can do Pilates eat yogurt but other that she's not over weight I've seen worse and get men
Addiction comes in MANY forms including FOOD. Unlike a heroin addiction or a nicotine addiction you can stop and live without, you NEED FOOD TO LIVE. So it's MUCH more complicated. You wouldn't expect a drug addict to be surrounded by drugs all day, and be okay would you? Now imagine having to NEED the drug to survive...Can you even understand how hard that would be? In America we have federal funded programs to help addicts and alcoholics. We have hundreds of thousands of volunteers serving soup to homeless addicts every day, giving them support and avenues to help with them get better and find a way out.. Unfortunately if your addiction is food, you are on your own. Drug addicts have more value then the fat person..... It's a shame and our society should be understanding just like they are for other people struggling with the challenge of addiction. Being addicted to something is psychological, it's a disease and should be treated as such. No one likes to be fat, and if they are the chances are highly likely they are suffering from more then just a food problem. I turned to food when I was sexually abused as a young girl, and then raped as a young woman! Maybe those would have been kinder to me had I turned to cocaine or alcohol.... but no. I turned to food. So in the eyes of society I am not worthy of anything, I am nothing. Try and have compassion next time you see someone struggling with their weight and realize there is something going on you cannot see.
