Contrary to the media (and media slaves), I think Miley Cyrus' performance was actually really good. To me, this performance was Miley being creepy-weirdo on purpose while exaggerating the (sexual) nuances that are expected of a performing woman. Women shouldn't be expected to "turn you on" any time they perform and sexuality in performance is not permission to sexualize.

I decided to "Finally" comment! Little confused why people are "so" confused or bugged by miley's entertainment? That is all this is. weather you approve of it or not it is "ok" because we have the freedom to do so. She is giving you something to talk about! THATS ALL. If its not this then its just some one else with a meat dress or nip and tuck or remember the herbal essence commercials? "O" What were they suggesting? Miley is apparently very aware that she is the topic of discussion and its a fact that this is making her money lol so "get over it" I would give up my pop pies, roman noodles and my student loans, credit debt.......to have the balls and ambition to put on a performance like this that will get millions of youtube views to provide the funds to buy a new car!!!! I can barley shake it at the club in front of people with my boyfriend. So I have to say you go girl! SHOW ME THE MONEY!!! It's not about sex and morals.... I love sex and freedom of speech and I know these people in the spot light have a crazy amount of pressure, ESPECIALLY children in the spotlight. Miley got so much attention and a lot of the pressure from almost ever perv and paparazzi out there to catch just a glimps of her naked body. Now she's at that stage in her life where she's legally an adult but there's still a lot of confusion in her mind about who she is and what "it all means" and it's VERY overwhelming for EVERY one in that "after high school/ college years" let alone a girl with that and MUCH MORE pressure trashed on her. What gets me mad are the people that produce and ALLOW this to happen even though they know d**n straight that **** like this happens time and time again to these young performers!!!!!! I won't be too surprised when I hear that she attains a drug addiction, sorry to say. I completely understand why though, to escape all the bs that's thrown to her. This song is almost like a cry for help!! lol for real though, it's sad. I do feel bad for the "Miley" generation, I know some one that age who has not only gotten herself into bad situations, drugs, law, anger issues, ext., but it breaks my heart when she, and her 9 year old sister, watch stuff like this religiously. I'm sorry MTV I miss the old you. I wonder too, are there any animation shows anymore? As a young girl, Daria, in my opinion, was a ...lol well somewhat good character. Although bland and cut dry, it made using your brain a good thing. Ok maybe Bevis and butthead weren't role models, but h**l, if Patrick Stuart watches the show it can't be all that bad! lol jk nEwayz good to get that out! lol
