Watch the promo for the MTV documentary, 'I'm Positive,' premiering Saturday, December 1 at 7/6c.
what about hiv criminalization?! there is a witch hunt for hiv positives by the law enforcement. It's a really dark time in hiv prevention. The worst thing about it is that those who don't get tested are immune form prosecutions. And if you don't have any money to hire a $20K lawyer, you will be convicted based on verbal accusations and hello life in jail. these happy videos unfortunately don't show the dark side of today life with HIV in America.

You gotta take the good with the bad in life. Sure Jersey Shore is a trashy spectacle. It's definitely not helping to increase my intelligence when I watch it, but there is some truth (at least for me) to being a young 20-something, and partying and being a little reckless sexually. I'm in my 30s now, and considerably more responsible, but I'm so lucky that nothing like this ever happened to me. I think it's okay to show kids partying, because I do think that is a part of life in this country for people of that age, but I do agree that it's only the responsible thing to educate them on what could happen if they are too careless. I think MTV does a great job of showing young adults the potential consequences of their decisions with shows like Teen Mom and this one. I think it would be extremely irresponsible of them if they didn't.
I am so glad that MTV is bringing this documentary... I was getting very upset with the channel only showing people partying and getting drunk and having one night stands and wouldn't show what the results of those actions are. TV does have an impact on your life if you see people partying and getting with someone that night at the club many people would try to do the same cause they think is fun but with a show that shows the consequences of your acts hopefully more people would think and protect themselves before doing something that might change their lives forever... Good job MTV I am glad you are finally showing what real life is about.
