Amber talks to Dr. Drew about her time in prison away from Gary and Leah. "Amber Behind Bars" airs Tuesday at 10/9c.
I'm not trying to make anyone upset, and i support Amber..... but being a parent and a child of a mother that was in a state prison with a play ground, and a detached trailer that looked like a home it's not the place for a child.... I cant tell you how hard it was to go see my mother in a place like that i was 10 and i understand Leah is only 3 but it is extremely hard for kids to see their moms like that.... think about it they go see their mother and get ripped away from her once the visit is up, searched before they go in it's traumatizing for little kids, yeah she got a 5 yr sentence but there is a thing called parole.... I'm proud of amber for getting her life back in order, that shows a lot! and Gary does need to stop being so hard on her, he can send more pictures and call more than once a day it takes 100% from both parties to make a relationship work....
It is BS to keep a child from their mom or dad, if they want to see them. A child is a human being too! they have feelings and emotions, put yourself in the child's shoes!

my moms in prison and i know first hand what its like to have your mom ripped away from you and it's ******** that he won't take her to see Amber. It's just as much his fault come on people we all know there was things that went on off of air. A person don't act that way for NO reaon!

in my perspective, they both have pro's and con's. they both USE Leah to get at each others bad and good ways. he does deff . antagonist amber with dumb things and gets her anger going. and we ALL know amber hasn't made the best decisions in life, but we can all judge her without being in her shoes. it makes us all look like cowards, shes a strong girl. id like to see any of these teen moms who are going threw all the things she was and be able to stand on their two own feet without a ***** or a problem. doubt it would happen.. nobody knows what either of these two go threw without being able to walk in their shoes, its impossible, ya you see what you see but that can most definitely be seen differently than what is actually happening. i just feel like all these people commenting saying this and that about the both of them, should mind their damn business and movee on , worry about your own lives. their clearly boring enough for yall to come on to this website and **** on people you DONT KNOW , NOR KNOW NOTHING ABOUT! so let her be , let him be and live your own damn lifee. i got you amber :)

I know that they both love Leah but feel that Gary utilizes her as a way of trying to keep some kind of control over Amber. I know that all parents want to stay with the mother/father for their children (hope I am making some kind of sense) but in this case its doing more harm. Gary wants to be with Amber but It just is not working so Gary needs to let Amber go, be civil with each other, stop fighting in front of Leah and move on some how because all this drama will effect a child!!
I wish the best for Leah. I've seen that girl grow up on tv and know that she deserves her mommy and daddy in a good environment. just hopefully not mommy and daddy together because obviously thats toxic.
I dont think Gary should take Leah to see Amber in jail. Cudos to him for stepping up and being a great father to that little girl. If he's rude and disrespectful to Amber it's because she's always going Loco on him and he has had enough. I do think both of them needs to learn how to get along for the sake of that beautiful little girl. From what ive seen on T.V. she's the one with the problem and she needs to get it together fast.
Obviously none of you look at the BIGGER PICTURE. Yes, obviously Amber is basically an idiot and has had her fair share of **** ups, but everyone needs to stop looking at Gary as the poor single dad who has been abused and mistreated. They are both bad for EACH OTHER. He has said hurtful things to her before and treated her just as bad. He's not an angel and neither is she so quit making him out to be like one.
I hope she grows up now and takes care of her business. I would be so ashamed if my kids had to see me in jail. If i was Gary I wouldn't let her go. That is no place for a small child.
