Also tell Adam he has to pay child support regardless, you can't say to the courts I don't want child support they will make him pay it. And he should.
It is had being a parent and just walking away but I do think her Dad needs to put his foot down, finish school or get a job. He can pay the rent but she has to pay for everything else if she is not going to school. Frankly I think she is lazy and spoiled why should she see what a dead beat Adam is she has to take no responsibility for anything else. Maybe if she had a peak into how hard it is out there she would then come to understand that having a dead beat for a boyfriend is not the way to go. We all try to help our kids but sometimes it is just time to hand it back to them, if they are not willing to do what is right.

Chelsea, I hope you read this... You were crying on the Reunion show about Aubrey and not wanting to hurt her, but you have to know in your heart that she hears and see's you and Adam fighting, there is no way she can't, no matter how hard you try. Which is why you were crying, because you know that is how is really is. What you and Adam have is a co-dependent relationship, which is NOT LOVE, no matter how hard you try, it won't change. Your partner MUST have respect for you, your child, your family and your friends, and if they don't, you shouldn't allow them in your life, when your child, family and friends are YOUR life. Read the book, Co-Dependent No More, it will help. I know, because I have been in your shoes before. I wanted the fairly tale ending as well, and unless you are with someone who actually DOES respect and value all the relationships in your and their lives, you won't ever have it. That is just the way it is. It sucks...but it is the truth. Why be with someone who needs to change, why not find someone that treats you and everyone in your life good from the start. You need to think really hard about this, you love Aubrey, would you want her to have a man or even a boyfriend treat her like Adam treats you? I know when you seriously think about it, it your answer is NO. So show her what is acceptable treatment and what is not. Which means not accepting and having someone in your life that treats you that way. That is what a parents role is, otherwise you are telling her that being abused verbally and mentally is ok, when I know you would not want someone to treat her like that. If Adam really loved Aubrey, he would be paying his child support and get visitation regardless of the issues between you and him. That is his responsibility. He seems to be in it for the ride, from what I have seen, he will say what he needs to, to get you to do what he wants, but in the end, and it will end again, he won't change because to him his behavior is normal, and ok, so why change. A good man, someone you want for a dad for Aubrey, and one day a husband, doesn't act like that...ever, not even once. Bad boys are fun to hang out with, party with, flirt and have good sex with, but not good for a serious relationship, where children, friends and family are involved. And there are good looking normal guys, but you can't find them sitting at home waiting on Adam to change. You are way too pretty and smart to let Adam treat you the way he does, stop giving him that power over you and dump his ass...stop procrastinating and get your GED and go to school and do it for you and Aubrey. Show her how to be a strong person. I got my GED, got a good job and bought my own home and raised two great sons, they are now 19 and 25. I know if I did it, you can. And I did not have any financial help from family. Both of my sons, have said you are way too sweet, pretty and smart for Adam... We all know they are right!! The way I dealt with my ex...I had a rule... no contact at all...no phone calls, texting or seeing him, unless it had to do with exchanging the kids, and if he started talking about other stuff, I said I had to go and hung up or walked off...it was hard to stop the drama, It had been going on back and forth for 8 years. I wasted 8 full years on someone that talked to me so mean, and ugly, and stole my self asteem, but you can change yourself and get your self asteem and self worth back..it takes some crying, reading and getting use to a calm no drama life, but you will feel soooo much better...promise ;) Get out there and enjoy your life, you deserve it.
I WANT TO COMMEND THIS SHOW FOR THIS SHOWING YOUNGER GIRLS WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE A TEENAGE MOM ITS NOT EASY I WAS A MOTHER AT THE AT OF 16 GOT PREGNANT A 15 NOW MY SON IS 14 AND LORD KNOWS I WISH THERE WAS SOMETHING OUT THERE FOR ME TO WATCH BECAUSE I WOULD OF BEEN SMARTER. I THINK THIS SHOW NEEDS TO STAY ON FOR A LOT OF YOUNG GIRLS TO LET THEM KNOW IT IS NOT AS EASY AS YOU THINK IT IS SOME SURVIVE SOME DON'T
:( I am so sad. I really thought she had learned that he is no good for her. If all the people who are love you and close to you think it--it is probably true. There is no way she could say her father is selfish or doesn't have her best interest at heart. So why don't you listen to him? I am just so sad. She deserves so much more, as does Aubree. Not a fan of the new hair-do, either. But that is SO much less important.

Chelsea has a WONDERFUL dad, the best there is. But now its time for him to show her some tough love and cut her off financially. SHe lets this aweful good for nothing boy treat her so terrible, she needs to get counciling. How could she forget he denied his own child that is unforgivable and he called her a "stretch marked fat *****". THere are some mentalproblems going on if she keeps crawling back. I wish dr. drew would be very harsh with her and wake her up. I have never heard of a 16 year old getting pregnant and not having to finish school or get her GED and get her own paid for house by her dad and not have to work or do anything at all. most girls who get pregnant have to work 1 or 2 jobs and try to do school. this is just rediculous. The dad thinks he is doing this out of love but its actually bad she needs to stand on her own two feet, work, clean the house learn to be an adult and paying for every little thing is not good. Adam is the scum of the earth. He gives boys a bad name. some one should knock some sense into him. chelsea is very disrespectful for letting a boy talk to her wonderful dad like that. that alone should make her never see him again. If she says "i dont want to be in the middle"one more time... Be a woman stand up for yourself and your baby!
Chelsea needs to open her eyes. It seems like adam just uses her and other girls like when they broke up and he went with the other girl and moved in with her. Thats what I see. He is not a good boyfriend or father. He cared more about his stuff then his daughter on her birthday now that is sad. There are plenty of fish in the sea and she can totally find a good guy who will love and respect her and the baby!!! she needs to move on he is just pulling her down.. so sad!!!

Chelsea needs to realize how much of a piece of crap adam is and needs to find someone worth her and her daughters time. No MAN would treat their daughters mom like that and NO MAN would pick something else over their child. End of story. I kno. I was with someone for 3 years on and off promised and promised to change and he never did so i havent been with him since '07. He has been engaged to two other women since then what does that tell you. He isnt worth it or anything for that matter. When u have a child ur child comes first no matter.
