Yes her mother has a right to be upset but throwing her out and not being there for her before and after the baby was born was just WRONG!!!! I like Emily and everyone is putting her down but you have to remember that she is only 16. I mean come on don't you remember being a teenager? Just because she had a baby doesn't mean that she was going to grow up and have the mind of a lets say 25 year old. And if you ask me there are most adults that still don't know what they want. So her being confused about marrying Daniel well I can understand that because like I said most adults are still confused about what they want in life. So I don't expect any of these girls to have all the answers as soon as they give birth. I mean does anyone really know what they want?

Your life is no longer yours maybe he should take the baby cause just because you gave birth doen't mean you get to keep it cause it seems that this baby has cramped your style well you should have kept your legs closed if you didn't want this to happen now in your life ever heard of a BJ my dear it would have kept him around and you out of mother hood. Jas, in the interview with Emily she said she was on birth control and she just didn't know that taking whatever medication her doctor prescribed to her would cancel it out. She's not stupid, she actually took the initiative to get on birth control which almost none of the other girls do. Having a baby does not ruin your life, it just all depends on how you want to look at things. If that's how you want to look at it, then do so, but keep it to yourself.

I really dont like how she responded Obviously she does not want to get married. She seems like she wants to be at the same level as her boyfriend and fails to realize that she has a baby to take care of and wether its her or him doing the baby job its a sacrifice that usually the mom has to make in this case so the father can provide. You no longer have that freedom sweety you both brought it upon yourselves!!! and i hope they dont pull through with the marriage thing thats another mistake she will be making he is a great guy and seems to be doing everything right but she dont love him and doesnt see him like he sees her. And the mom well what can i say SHE IS A *****! i am a mother of a 2 yr old and never would i leave my daughters hand knowing she is helpless it would be dissapointing but she would need my support now more than ever. props to the dad for stepping up to the plate.

Am I the only one who believes that Daniel is THE perfect boyfriend? Unlike many other teen dads, he does not go out all the time and forget about his child. He is trying to provide a better life for Emily and Liam. He also deals with Eily's complaining about his work schedule. Though i've watched almost every episode of 16 and Pregnant, this was the only one that has made me cry. Daniel's love for Emily and Liam actually brought me to tears. Their relationship was beautiful and remined me that even though you might have been dealt with a bad hand, you can always turn it around. Also, this was the first episode where I didnt relate to the mother as much as I did to the father.
What a wonderful Christmas present!! I would LOVE to have gotten that for Christmas. However...when Daniel proposed he didnt seem so sincere and Emilys answer was deffinantly not convincing!! P.S. Emilys hair is SO cute straight!!

Emily's Mother let Emily down in so many ways. She should have maybe spent more time talking to her daughter about sex & about how boys play mind games with girls to get their clothes off. Example: "If you really care about me or love me, you will show me by having sex with me." Emily's boyfriend doesn't know what love is.He just knows that he is now a Father & ruined both of his & Emily's lives.
