I've never seen the UK version, but I really, really like the US version of Skins, love the music to, all the characters are really good to, watched all the episodes, hopefully they make more US versions

Naw Dip! it supposed to be...its not like Americans just stole the show. the writers came to the US and asked if we wanted to do it. and the cast and writers all said that only the 1st couple of episodes are the same and then the plot changes..So im not trying to be rude or anything but please give this show a chance and stop comparing everything to the UK(original) version.
This version of skins is ********!! Like SERIOUSLY COME ON.... they could've at least come up with something more original. Besides, UK version of skins is MUCH BETTER! America is way too uptight for even a scene with a naked leg.. oh btw, CHRIS DIES IN THE END ! :)
yeah okay sorry you may not want to hear this, but it is the perfect show, its showing everyone what a teenage life is all about, and they nailed it. like seriously thats what i live for now adays so deal with it and stop complaining. Thank you<3

This is a total rip off of the BBC version. Same names, same plot. They could have at least put something original in it.
MTV's New Series 'Skins'! Come on..new?? BBC America had this three years ago.. You could at least gave them new names and just used the ideia, but the first show almost the same as the skins BBC, just not as hard core..they showed more T&A and the F word, no we in USA but come up with some new ****....
