i have watched teen mom over and over and i haft to say it helps me because i was doing the excatly the same thing has these girls were doing with there parents and boyfriend. i just wanted to say thank u for letting me see what i was doing wrong with my son..

I am a 65 year old Nonna (Gma) and I just to tell Catelyn and Tyler that they made the right decision for their baby. I am so proud of the two of you. You gave your baby a wonderful home with loving parents. You knew you couldn't give her what they could. I know you could of given her love but that's not all it takes. You two are so mature beyoung your young years and you care enough to still in your baby's life. I got married at 17, he left after 2 children and I was 21 so I know how hard it is to provide. The love that you two have shared throughout this is amazing. You need each other and have made a commitment to each other. Your love is beautiful. I know you both have issues with your parents but I want to say that those relationships with them have made you see how you do not want to parent. I wish you both the best in life because I believe you deserve it and will have it. I love you guys.
Hi Stacey!! Thanks for agreeing with me. We as a society are quick to jump to conclusions. (Including myself) I really hate when I do that. As for Amber's mom I have seen her one time. She and Amber were having lunch after Amber and Gary became engaged again. 3rd. time I believe. She is no better in my opinion. That's just me. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Again these girls need family support as well as friends. However family is better. Stacey you seem like a very sweet young lady. I pray you had a Merry Christmas and that you have a happy new year! For catelyn and tyler yall made the best choice for Carly.... smart parent i cried when i had 1st watch the eposide when yall went to see carly and for amber you are slack all you do is lay around and want gary to baby you and also thats not good for the child to be around arguments, grow up........ i am a mom myself and i would not put my child in bad enviorments....and for farrah i umderstand your situation wish you luck and keep up the good work
Did you happen to forget that this man doesn't even feel the need to WORK??! Sure, he's the lesser of two evils, but he certainly isn't the savior!
I agree w/ some of your post, but definitely not all. Amber may not have had the best of childhoods, but when she decided to keep her baby she made a promise to that baby to be the best mother she could be. I myself did not come from a great home. I was abused emotionally, physically, sexually.... guess what?? I have a child who has been exposed to NONE of that!!!!!!!!!!! You can't use your childhood as an excuse! That's a cop out!
It's called free rent & use of a car w/o having to have a JOB! He's a leech!! Gary wasn't any better, so Amber needs to take a look at the guys she finds attractive & rethink what is best for her & her child. Two men who don't work is NOT it!
Im glad Catelynn and Tyler got to see Carly!!!!! Amber is another story!!!! She is crazy and I feel for little Leah!!!!! I love me some Maci, she does any and everything for Bentley!!!! Farrah is a little crazy too, but I understand she has been though alot with her mother and her baby daddy passing away... I love this show and I hope there will be another season with the same girls!!!! : )
neither of there houses are clean, and they might be good parents off camera but on camera amber makes her self look crazy.
Poor little Leah! I know everyone has problems, and until we walk in their shoes, well you get the point. Both need help with being parents! I know we only see a glimpse of life with Gary and Amber, but come on how much time can be spent just laying around all day. Amber has no patience with Leah. Talk about mental abuse of a child. I lIke Amber so I am pulling and praying for her. Oh, and please pull that hair out of Leah's face!!

thanks for the feedbacl cecilla, i agree with you as well, i also agree very much so with shannon and momof4boys. this show is a very good show and it does show differnet perspectives. abuse isnt just physical and leah deserves better,either that or amber and gary both need to straighten up for there child. and farrah has matured alot more from last season but she still has further to go. she needs to stop being selfcentered
I really want to commend Tyler and Catelynn on how they have handled all of the obsticles in both of their lives. I would be proud to call either of those kids mine. And I have two of my own. I really feel they are very bright and sensative people that have had to grow up fast and make some very hard decisions that most grown ups don't make the right decisions. Carly is going to have the best of both worlds with both sets of parents and hopefully you will find your way and stay together and have more children when the time is right and you have your education behind you. Good job so far and best wishes.
