'16 and Pregnant' returns Tuesday, October 26th at 10/9c on MTV.
HOW OLD ARE YOU IF YOU DONT MIND TELLING ME
Being pregnant is the easy part, its what comes after the birth that changes everything.
I have read a lot of these comments my husband was 23 when we had our first child he had friends that where 18 having kids. They use to have bowels full of condoms in health classes that where free what happened to that time. Some people are so stuck on abstance and don't have sex there not showing the teenagers how to protect themselves. If they showed real pictures of std's from the medical books they would really want to protect themselves. I think this show is the smartest thing that could have been done since the schools aren't doing it in parts of the united states someone should.
Man I wish I can see this all the way over here in Germany are they gonna air the 1 mixed girl with the black boyfriend with the dreads. anyone? That episode looks really instresting and the one with the girl giving up her baby for adoption those are the ones I gotta see man I am so addicted to this show i have 2 boys 1 born in 2008 and the other 2009 and I am 22 years old still with there father but very hard being a parent without alot I never finished in the past so I know what these girls feeling even though I am older may GOD bless you all
that was some of the best advice i've heard. I'm 14 and i don't plan on having sex anytime soon. nobody is going to like me better if i do so why do it?
For anyone who is saying this show is suppose to some how prevent teen pregnancy an for teens to see how it is so they can think twice is very true. Not everyone listens but i know there's some one out there that has. Of course teens etc are going to keep having babies but there are some who may had looked at this an decided to be more careful. just because you see more shows an more young girls having babies doesnt mean its not helping. im very sure if we went around this world an talked to girls there would be some who said that they have seen the show an it has helped them or even said i dont want to be one of those girls that went through what they did.. open your eyes!! dnt judge there r many people out there that r not in this situation.
a show is not gonna make ppl get pg. if it does they're retarded bc there's almost no chance they're gonna be the ones chosen. plus it's def not gonna up statistics. & there's no reason not to show 9 girls. its not like there weren't 9 last year, or the year before they could've shown. the more the better.. it shows variety & also that they all have the similar issues being teen mothers. on a another note.. i really hope that girl gets her baby back!!
I agree with Cocobarr You need a man to create a baby.. I also hope that one day..there will be something for boys to prevent pregnancy.. not only a condom.. cause they are not 100% safe either.. and what I realy miss on the show, is how the parents of the boys experience it.. all the attention goes to the girls and her parents.. and don't get me wrong.. I know that the girl has to sacrifice the most..and the parents of the girls have to deal with it more then the parents of the babys father...but if you will see the experience of the babys fathers and parents..on the show more.. I think more parents will let there son watch this program ..so that they can see how hard it is and howmany things they will have to sacrifice&&&&& so that the BOYS will think twice,, BEFORE they have UNPROTECTED sex with there girl friend.... because it takes 2 to make a baby... and any boy can make a baby but it takes a man to raise them and we all know and saw it on the last 2 seasons... the girls are realy getting mature trough their pregnancy and after that.. from little teenage girls to grown-adults while the boys stay little boys..and doing all the things they used to do BEFORE the baby came...and if boys would watch this show because we all know the most viewers are girls/women , they could see that some of the parent SUPPORT and some of the parents will turn their backs to them.. BUT don''t forget,... that is MY opinion some of you will agree some of you won't
i love this show! Just is sad how many teens get pregnant!! and how much they are sacrificing as a parent I have an almost 4 month old daughter, and was 20 when i had her, and its a very difficult job lots of time, money teaching, and love go into parenting idk how teens do it when its difficult fo me andim older
wow i also cant blive hows these girls may be feeling now with a baby
Okay why did I just tear up at the end, it was something to see those new dads tear up, and I agree with a lot of the people below, people that should be watching do not watch this show.
The problem is that know one expects it to happen to then. Everyone knows there's a chance and you see all these people getting pregnant. But for some strange reason you never think that it'll happen to you. I know I didn't expect it to happen to me either. The worse thing is that sometime birth control or condoms don't work. The only way to be completely safe is to not have sex at all.....
I love this show but it almost seems to be having the opposite affect that it is meant to. My 15 year old son has 1 friend already with 2 children!! I sit and talk to him about protection and he will roll his eyes and then we even bought him a box of condoms because we are not stupid! I wish with all the science that there was a birth control pill for boys! So sad.
i totally agree with you!!
I think this is one of the better shows on tv. Teen pregnancy is a subject that I dont believe is talked about enough. It's not all fun and games and happily ever after and teens need to see that. MTV if you're smart you'll run this show as long as the subject is needed to be understood by all.
or maybe they are watching and they think it wont happen to them.... either way its sad
I agree with Brett completely. It is a good show but obviously the girls and boys that should be watching are not.
i like this show but im upset that there's another season coming out. you'd think these girls would be careful after watching the first two seasons of this show
i'm sure it's real easy when you're still pregnant and in the final steps of finishing high school before the baby is born. and i guarantee the majority of these girls shown on this show, got pregnant before you. It sounds like you were graduated and then had your baby. They had their babies, and then didnt have support from families or friends or even the baby's father in some cases. You should consider yourself lucky, cuz not everyone is as fortunate as you are.... You have to keep in mind that you could stay home with your child because you were married and your husband was bringing in some cash. These women sometimes have to find a babysitter and go to work because they don't have a pot to p*ss in. I"m sure there is always extra time when your child is taking a nap that you can squeeze in an extra assignment or something for school. Again, congratulations though.
i dunno. a lot of parents of pregnant teens do have the "sex talk", they do tell them what can happen, and they still do it anyway. i highly doubt that these girls got pregnant so they could have a one-in-a-million chance at getting on this show. HIGHLY DOUBT THAT.
