Anthony Wayne High School has its fair share of bullying, whether it be face to face or through other ways of communicating.

That's a shame. How unfortunate that the school staff didn't work to keep the momentum of the show's progress in your school.
No matter where you are, if YOU are boring, you surroundings are boring. Life in a community of 300 people can be exciting if you create excitement. Life is what you make of it and if you feel the need to be surrounded by large numbers of people or a bunch of stimulus, it's your insecurities that will make you feel that this is exciting. And, being from Toledo and now living in Philadelphia, I can tell you that it's no different here than anywhere else. In fact, it's less exciting because what's missing is the closeness of a smaller community. Sure, Toledo has lesser numbers of things to do but list the things Toledo doesn't have that other cities do. It has a fantastic museum, a great zoo, symphony, shopping, movie theaters, concerts, plays, coffee shops, highways, parks, sports teams, spas, restaurants, cultural festivals, parades, churches, butterfly houses, etc., etc., etc. What does any other city have that Toledo does not? When is the last time you took advantage of any of those things in Toledo and how different do you think they are in other cities? Life is what you make of it!
From the posts I've read, school is failing us miserably! Kids today have zero social and interpersonal skills and certainly don't know grammar or how to spell! They don't know how to shake another persons hand, present themselves for an interview or respect authority. They have NO CLUE of the consequences of their actions today and how it will affect their future. I blame parents who would rather hand over a cell phone and an Xbox to their kid rather than sit down and demand more from them. If kids are TAUGHT respect, dignity, compassion, confidence, etc. there would be no bullying because kids would understand how badly it affects others. Parents in general are so detached from their kids lives and rather than work at correcting that, they find the easiest way out. Kid wants; parent gives. Wrong formula! Parent expects; kid delivers. THAT'S the formula that works! Why is that so hard? SOMEONE HAS TO BE THE PARENT! Parenting is work and it's a responsibility to society to raise your kid with values that will contribute to society and to the lives of your child and everyone around them. If you're not up to that task, keep your boy and girl parts locked up! I need another mouthy kid with an attitude in my life like I a fish needs a bicycle. If your kid is in high school and hasn't learned that they are forming their future right here and now, what is going to happen in 3 more years when they're on their own? They'll spend their 20's and 30's still trying to figure it out rather than being a productive, self-sufficient member of society.

I live in OHIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not near toledo but C-bus. Its always cool to hear Ohio on the TV
to be honest im surprised mtv even bothered with ohio, let alone the toledo area ... its boring as hell- im gonna watch this just to see
i go to a highschool around this school and ppl still give me **** and i dont even go there.... this show changes nothing the kids may seem to change but never really will

Too bad you feel that way. What school do you go to? Have you talked to any of the girls that you saw on TV? I'll bet you could ask'em what they learned, or tell them that they're still the same, then you'd get to see if they're the same or not. I hope you get to go to the next one when they come back to your school.
This TV show is amazing! I watched the first episode, and even my mom thought that it would be a GREAT idea for my grade to watch this. I think that if every school that has cliques, major bullying, or both watched this, or was put through that experience it would change a lot of lives, that is if it actually works. Over all this is one of the best shows that I have ever seen. Great message, and I think that there should be more TV shows like this.

I GO TO THIS SKOOL! this show was an interesting experience but sadly it didnt really help. it just made the bullies understand it was wrong to hurt people, not stop them :(
