I agree 100% with boxxy! and "craazy" who are you to say "yuu people have no room to call her a bad mom unless ur a teen mom yourself and your doing better than she is."... If you're going to make adult decisions to raise a child then you are going to be judged by adults, it doesn't matter whether people have walked in your shoes or not, there are still things that are universally stupid, and Janelle's behavior falls in to that category. For the record, I was a young mother, and I did a lot better in my opinion. I didn't play "the teen mom card" I dealt with my decision to raise my son like a grown up woman, because those are the only type of women that should be raising children, that is why the good moms grow up fast, the bad mom's don't.

that is true farrah was a bit better about spending time with the baby, and the difference was their mothers, farrah's mom made no hesitations about prioritizing her own sleep and her own life. Janelle's mom was much more fickle and even after the half hearted apology towards the end of this episode she picked up jase and said "he needs his diaper changed".... why didn't she have his mom do that? cycle of dysfunction for sure!
Some mom's just don't like their kids, I think janelle is a perfect example. I think she related parenting to being a prison... she really should have given that boy up for adoption. So sad.
I don't think her mom was really there for her, she was there for her grandson and believed the pitiful and unrealistic threats that her daughter made towards her about running off and never seeing her again. If I'd been her mom I'd have told her to not let the door hit 'er in the rear on the way out. Sometimes really loving your kid is doing the thing that is hardest, like kicking them the *#*$) out.

FFS!! you know it wasn't even until my 3rd viewing of this scene that I even noticed that! It appears unedited. LMFAO. I wonder what Janelle thought of herself after she viewed this episode, I mean we don't like to look at our flaws so much, but when it is put in your face just like that.... I just would think seeing herself in this light would make some sort of an impact. you know?
So now she can raise a male version of Janelle? I don't imagine that would turn out all that much better really. :O/ But I hope for the best.
was thinking the exact same, she reminds me of Farrah :O/ So disapointing. I mean, sure we all are immature when we are younger and mature as we grow... but obviously some of us have a LOT further to go than others. Sad.

So sad, Jase most definitely would have been better off if his mom had been as strong as Kate in season 1 episode 6 and really.... Janelle probably would have been better off given up for adoption too! Definitely seems like a cycle of dyscfunction.
Her date is hot and handsome and all she could do was whine about Andrew. I'm sure that her date was really interested on the edge of his seat to know all about Andrew. Not.
That poor guy had to sit there and listen to her bellyache about andrew through their date. Ugh. And she's like "I kept this ring cause I like it, not cause it's from Andrew." I bet a million dollars you could find a ton of other rings you like besides that one.

Ugh. WTF MTV- Where is the music on this channel? This girl shouldn't be allowed alone with a kid. I fell bad for her baby most of all and her mother for putting up with her.
