i was i teen mom i got pregnant at 16 and now i'm 26 my oldest son is 9. Its ahrd to due it on your own put its worth it. It takes longer for men to grow up it took my husband an extra 3 years to grow up. during that time we wern't together and i was raising our son on my own.i beleive if you love sombody let them go and if they love you they will come back i waited and he came ba when he was ready to be a grown up ya it took 3 years and he missed out on a lot of things, but you cant change the past. Know he gets to experence all the harder things because babies are the easy part. one thing that i can say is never take advise from someone who has never been in a relationsip with a baby and a man at the same time. if your friends that know nothing of what it is really like to be a teen mom are trying to give you advise. I would get knew freinds because they do not have any idea what it is really like.
Catelynn, you are the most insperational person i have ever met. I watched every episode just to watch you and tylers story. Tyler you are the sweetest thing and you and Catelynn deserve the best and deserve each other. When Tyler asked you to marry you Cate, I cried like a little girl. You guys are amazing and did an amazing job at doing the right thing. I love you guys
Catelynn, you and Tyler are so amazing for what you did! It WAS the best decision for you and what a selfLESS thing you did. It is not easy to put your child's well-being in front of your feelings but you both recognized that she would have a better life with someone else and that is THE most loving thing you could've done as parents! I sat here and watched every episode and every time you cried, I cried with you. I am an adoptive mom and seeing what you and Tyler have gone through together and how hard it is for you really made me take a step back and think about my son's birth mom in a different light. My story is a little different because we were foster parents and our baby was taken from his mother but the same emotions are still involved. You are an inspiration. I just know that you have inspired other moms out there to be brave and make an adoption plan for their baby if if they know they can't provide the home they ant to for their child. I just cannot say enough good things about the two of you and you are by far the MOST mature teen I have ever seen! I wish both of you all the happiness in the world.
