Meet Emily, a twenty year old bisexual who grew up with a super religious family in Columbia, Missouri.
I deffinately understand where she is coming from. I lived at heartland as well && it was the worst experience in my life. If you people even knew. It made me so unsure about life and very insecure. They think that if you arent there or agree with them and their beliefs that you are wrong. They say you are people of the "world". Heartland is like a cult and if you guys never been there or lived there you have no room to talk about what it is or is not. Its the worst place in the world. Im happy for her to get out there and experience the world. That place makes you want to isolate yourself from the world and will make you never want to experience the world at all. I hope she has an awesome experience.
Its called Heartland. And its the worst place in the world.
You people want to make that big of a deal about her growing up in/near Kirksville and not Columbia. This is an almost 3 1/2 minute clip of a very quick bio and where she's at right now for MTV ffs. For all we know the MTV producer could have asked where Emily is living right now then she says she's from Columbia, Missouri. And megglezface_xo moving away from your family and town can open your mind to new experiences and thoughts. Or even cause you to come to terms and accept some things about yourself. Not saying this is what happened with Emily. I don't know her or anything but being in a new area can have those kinds of effects on a person.
god she is sooooooooo freakin gorgeous!!!!! like out of all the girls in the real world she is the most prettyiest one!!! and i dnt think she is fake at all...she seems like a nice genune person who trys not to get invovled with drama....
i know for a fact that i could never live with her i would prolly wind up kickin her ass, shes so ****** dramatic and thinks that everyone in the house is wrong then the other girls irk me takin up for her all the damn time following her every word and move its like t hey are her pets or somethin, i think if i were there i would have prolly threw her ass over the balcony myself......just because her life is miserable doesnt mean that she has to make everyone elses that way.....
Emily is one of the fakest and most dramatic people I know. First of all, she’s not “from” Columbia, she’s from Kirksville; And for the people that have either lived or been to both towns, you know that’s a BIG difference. She only moved there about a year or so ago to attend college, which according to most people, that doesn’t mean you’re “from” there. Second, there’s no way in hell she’s bi. IN FACT, she was part of the crowd that looked down upon and made fun of the gays in our school, including my own brother. I don’t believe that moving an hour and a half away all the sudden changes everything you stand for and your sexual orientation. Finally, I don’t know what “cult” she’s rambling on about and making a big deal over, but I’m from Kirksville and I’ve never heard of it nor heard anyone else talk about it and KV is the type of town where everyone knows everyone and everything about everyone. I’m sure half of this ******** is made up and she’s just doing it for the attention and publicity and to get the pity from the audience. Emily, don’t talk about people being fake when you’re one of the fakest. Get over yourself and get the hell off my TV.
Emily didn't grow up in Columbia. She just LIVES and goes to college there. She grew up in rural northern MO, near Kirksville, about an hour and a half away from Columbia. Definitely a different culture and atmosphere there. I mean look at the "town" behind her. Does that place look like it would hold a 100,000 people and a school with 30,000 students? No. Same state, totally different place.
I am a 21 year old from Columbia, Missouri and I am upset with what Emily has to say about my city. It is not a small town but rather a large city with a small town feel. I don't know how unsocial you might have been in highschool or college and I have never seen the "religious" part of this city that you claim to know so well. I would love to know what church you are actually speaking of. Come on Emily, won't you tell us? Maybe your story would be a little more believable if you were a Mormon from Utah. When shooting your "video" of Columbia, where were you? Ten minutes outside the city in a cornfield somewhere in McBain? Columbia is such an accepting town with so many fun things to do and I am hurt by how you are portraying it. Thanks! P.S Love the way all you wear in MU apperal
When I first saw the episode I missed the part where it said that Emily was from Columbia, but I heard her say that she was from a small town near Kansas City, MO and I knew that she ment Columbia, call it a been-there-know-that feeling. That is one of the things that Attracts me to Emily as a person, she seem really real and I really would love to sit and chat with her, trade stories on Columbia. Plus she is also beautiful! Wish her the best of luck!
I live in Columbia Missouri! are you kidding me? this chick really pisses me off! she is a cryin lil baby for real! grow the hell up. She needs to get the hell over it. Seriously?. Get this chick off tv. Dissapointment for the tigars for real. fake as hell
I haven't really payed any attention to her. I find Emily and Ashley being close friends throughout the show. We'll see.
She seems pretty cool.
okay, first off, small town life is NOT that bad. come on. my town is even smaller and i love it. it's not like you are in this bubble you can never get out of xD please. you know how many 'heroes' and celebrities have come from small towns. yeah. it's your passion, not your location, that determines your future.
She's the cutest one! can't wait to c the 2 bisexuals interact
2 bisexual....cool
