'MTV's 16 and Pregnant' is an hour-long series focusing on the controversial subject of teen pregnancy. Tune in Thursday, June 11th at 10pm ET for the premiere.
Just to inform you I had a baby when I was 17 and I finished high school with a 3.5 gpa. I had my baby girl when I was a senior in high school. Also while you are preaching on here stop judging people. I was with my daughters father for 2 1/2 years before we had her and we are now married. I was only with one other guy besides him so stop making it seem like if you are a teen mom that you are a slut. I am going to college to be nurse and then an CRNA. I am not a freeloader and most teen moms are not freeloaders. The teen mom that I know are working very hard to give their kids a wonderful life.
you need to realize that not all teen parents are on goverment programs. I have a 7 month baby and my and my husband live in our own house, buy all of our needs and we work hard to make a living that we do. we are able to go out an get what ever we want when ever we want. and no the "tax payers" pay nothing for us. If you want to live under rules like this, then get the **** out of the united states and go to china where they do have rules like this. if you dont know it people between the age of 25 and 30 that take the biggest chunk out of goverment money
Well I Had My Baby At 13 And It Was Really Hard For Me Because I Aint Had Kno One Too Help Me And It Is Really Hard Too Take Vare A Baby Buy Your Self And Then You Cant Do Nothing...Then U Up Almost Mostley Of the Night And Ya Stressing And Throwing Up iGot Tired Of All Dat..
I think that they would make it. Unless the father shows up on time for her to go somewhere like for a job or something.
Wow there is alot of bashing here. Why don't you people realize that having a baby at such a young age is hard enough they don't need you to sit there and bash them. Yea maybe they spread there legs at such a young age but they made there bed and now they gotta sleep in it. Yea there may be some people out there that don't deserve to be moms and i don't agree with them having kids at a young age but then i see people that did have kids while they were young and they are excellent moms. So you have no room to say anything unless you know there situation here. I watch all of these shows now and I love it. Everybody has a different situation and does not need immature people on here running there mouth about them. And for all you teen moms out there that have a child I give you guys alot of credit. Taking care of a baby is not easy but i am sure that alot of you will step up and be a great parents!!
I'm 19 years old and a mother of a 9 and a half month old baby girl. I got pregnant at 17 and let me tell you it is the HARDEST thing you will EVER have to take on in your entire life. You will be one of the lucky ones if your bf or whoever it is, helps with the baby, let alone sticks around. You give up your life. Thats all there is to it. Its not about you anymore. You dont get to do the fun things that you are suppose to do when your a teen, its all about baby. These girls, in my opinion, are very strong women. Its so hard to take care of a baby by yourself and its even harder watching your bf sit there and do NOTHING day after day. Believe me, i know. You think everything will be perfect and wonderful but its totally the opposite. Lots of stress, fighting, lack of sleep, spending money you dont have... Anyways... just wait to have a baby... its so hard doing it so young. :o/
Maci was so mature and sweet. I didn't like Farrah though. She was extremely shallow and selfish and not near as mature as Maci was.
maci let it be told if a man dosent change after his baby has come ,he will never change,i understand he is young but it dosent seem like he wants to be a dad ,or isnt ready, you are beautiful and so young dont be with him just because of your son,if theres not love or kindness towards eachother how is your son going to learn that if its not around him.Be strong ,and continue on being a good mom.
well im 15 and not pregnant all the women on this show r amazing u have to have be so brave and maci ur very brave but the lack of help ur getting with the baby is no sence u need to tell him if he cant help u that ur better off cuz pretty much u r on ur own and its not fair to ur baby or to you. you need to put your foot down and tell to be a man cause ur not the only person that made the baby the babys there he needs to be a man and help good luck with everything
she needs to leave him. i am 2 years younger then maci and i have a 1 year old. shes awesome. she really does need to leave the loser. i did and im okay with it. i hooked up again
I think Maci needs to leave Ryan he is a bad influence on Bentley the baby does not need to grow up like his dad my opinion is Ryan i cheating on Maci. She needs to get out of that situation cause he said it himself they would not be together if it was not for the baby
I can't wait til the next episode. I helped my sister and shes 20 with my now 9 1/2 month old Niece and she was hard. It is hard having a baby. You see the Cuteness but when see the Back side of having a baby or when u see other babys its nothin like havin one of ur own cause you cant give it back that baby is yours 24 hours a day 168 hours a week 7 days week 30 or 31 or 29 days a month all night. Please you protection. I give these women credit who actually go threw with the pregnancy and keep the baby or give it up for adoption that takes a lot of guts and work.
cant wait to see the next episodes im also a16 year old mother and its VERRRRyyy HARDDD use condoms!!!!
I had just watched the episode of 16 and pregnant, the show with MACI and RYAN and baby BENTLEY. I believe MACI needs to leave RYAN. I could not believe how much of a JERK he was. She deserves better then that. Ryan shows NO interest in the baby or MACI. I think he is very immature and rude to MACI. I think she is a pretty girl and has a great head on her shoulders. I believe she will also make a great mother. MACI If you ever decide to drop that LOOSER then I have plenty of guy friends your age that would love to meet you, ad the great thing is I only live about an hour and a half away from Chattanooga. I am right outside of south Nashville. Good luck you in the future MACI. God Bless you and baby BENTLEY.
xeeveex same with me! it didnt really change anything but just gave us the boost to move out! and we still have plenty of money to play with!
totradol i have a 3month old and my boyfriend and i ,also the father, have our own house we don't rely on anyone to help us out we aren't rich but we have the money to get by and raise our daughter together im almost 18 and he just turned 20 together for almost 3 years and having a baby didnt change a thing! not every ones the same so dont talk about "all" the teen moms
i just wtched this show for the first time and a new baby can really damper a relationship.... even at 22!! You have to have 2 mature indiviuals. and sometimes one of the parents withdrawl because he situation is too overwhelming and they dont kno how else to express it but to leave and do other things besides being with the baby!! But this is a really good show kep it up!! as time goes on it gets better. i have to admit its better now that my son is 13 months old then 3 months old!! so it gets soooo much better they are the biggest blessing!!!
I disagree with that. Not all young people raising babies are like that! I am more mature than most people would ever be at my age. I dont regret having a baby. I was pregnant my whole senior yea and still went out and did everything with the senior class. & when she came everyone loved her. Sure it put stress on me and my boyfriends relationship but now were as happy as a family can get! We both know we want to settle down together and we both know that Maddi was a blessing! But it probably helps that she has been sleeping through the night since week four and she never really crys! But anyways I went off to walk across that stage with my daughter in my arms! Im proud of what I did!
There needs to be some kind of laws for the under age teens like cut off all support they have to pay them selves, or the baby has to go up for adoption to a couple that can afford to raise it so we (the tax payers) do not have to. This is one area the goverment needs to get involved and pass some laws to protect it's tax payers.
wow... not to pass judgement, but that dude needs to learn how to live with a baby... turning the lights off is only going to piss the baby off... she will be lucky if the dude stays... most young men are noooooooooooo where near the maturity level to own up to fatherhood...
