Girly girls Jenna and Sabrina get a taste of the fighting world as they made coach greets them by splitting a brick in two.
GO Brenda!!! Woo! Glad to see you have come so far! Keep up the good work!
aww they have pretty voices. but that coach can't be a girl...
i thought their coach was a boy.
I'm really not a B WORD like this show makes me seem:( Our rap was so much fun! Sabrina and i were laughing so hard and she starts snorting every time!!! hahahah its great!! -Jenna!
great episode. funny to see the varied reactions it is getting...Brenda is obviously at the top of her field and understands the complex nature of the teenage girls' psyche... they could not have made a better choice for coach on this one. i hope those girls understand how lucky they are to have met and trained with her and the entire Quantum group...ps. she's totally hot too :)
Brenda seemed like an awesome instructor from what I could tell. I'd love to have her in my corner anytime.
Brenda may be a great coach, but someone to look up to she is not and she is far from sweet behind closed doors. Just ask any of the girlfriends she's had that she loves to physically and emotionally intimidate and abuse. Just sayin - be sure the person you are supporting is someone that deserves it.
Yeah she might look like one but she is soooooo awesome and yes she is female. I would have to say she is quite the Lioness or mother bear in her ferociousity. But she does have a sweet side too. So if you are ever in Seattle, WA I strongly suggest you come out and check Quantum out. It is a great place to train and it is a great place for children to grow up too.
i totally thought the made coach was a guy!
These girls did pretty well and it seems that Quantum is a very good place to train. It looks like they were doing American Tae Kwon Do. The forms were the same, but I give them kudos for trying and in the end succeeding.
Yeah you are right what they did was not MMA but neither is the style. Quantum martial arts is a blend of several different styles which can be used to compete in MMA and two of the students from Quantum have fought in MMA. But what the girls did was nothing but amazing they took what would take a normal student over a year and crammed it into 6 weeks they got to their high yellow which is amazing. If any one doubts this I challenge you to come try out the dojo for a two week period of time no questions asked free or come and watch the next full school testing which is April 11th. Check out the website for more information at www.seattlequantum.org. I look forward to seeing many new faces on the mat.
Don't get me wrong... testing for a yellow belt in a matter of weeks and passing is a great accomplishment. At the end of the episode I was proud of both girls but this is still not mixed martial arts.
your tight :)
I'm sorry but point karate in full sparring gear is NOT mixed martial arts. If they wanted to be "made" into tae kwon do fighters then I guess they succeeded but they certainly are not mixed martial artists!
yeah, your beat boxing was rather fly. Brenda is amaaaaazing, we love her so much:) I wish everyone could meet her.
hhahaha yeahh please i wish that they would put it in, atleast i did the beat boxing right?
I thought Brenda was a GUY until they introduced her!!
Hahaha i loved our try-to-be-gangster rapping. Sabrina's rap part was cut out but it was hilarious. :)
