Hello. I am Mrs. Noel the NISH cheerleading sponsor. On behalf of the cheerleaders, we would like to say thank you all for your support and positive comments. As a first year teacher, I am very shocked and amazed that an opportunity such as MADE came along. Filming for the show was not always easy. As you can see in the show the girls struggled with new concepts of discipline and pain. Now that the show is completed the cheerleaders are still reflecting on their experience and trying to take it all in. I personally have learned an immense amount of vaulable information from Lisa and the cheerleaders themselves through this experience. This opportunity has opened many doors for the NISH cheerleaders. I plan on using all of the resources that I have been given to take the team to greater heights next year. It is wonderful that this experience is inspiring other young cheerleaders out there. I did not by any means think that these girls were bad cheerleaders to begin with. However, what Lisa was able to teach them in just a short time was great. It proved that these girls are much stronger than they give themselves credit for. The NISH cheerleaders and I will be forever grateful to the producers at MTV and Lisa for the opportunity that they have given us. As for my cheeerleaders, I am very proud of the hard work and dedication that you gave to make this expereince great. I know you will look back on this ten years from now and realize the vaulable life lessons that you have gained from this experience. Whether or not you accept it now, you have learned more from this season than you will ever know! Thank you for being great cheerleaders!
The portion where Lisa kicks everyone out and then one of the guys goes and explains to them what the coach is doing is discipline, that they can't walk away but need to get back in there and work harder -- it is one of the most powerful moments I think I've ever seen on TV!! So many kids never understand what is happening when someone criticizes them; they get discouraged and sometimes give up. The pain is real, but that's the intent. I'd bet that every girl learned something from that moment, and if it hadn't been for the guy explaining things it would have turned out very differently. If there's ever a best-of show created from snippets from Made episodes, to me this would be the most important one!
Lisa is strict but they get done what they need to get done...She was and is my choregragher for my allstar cheerleading team...hanover ymca scoprion allstars...i'm glad she is my choregragher because she is amazing.she tought me so much her coming to my cheerleading is the one who encouraged me to get my handspring because i knew that she would ask why i didn't have it and make me...i love you lisa your amazingg. see you in like 4 months for choregraghyy bye.
That was great show. I loved the way the girls came together at the end. They did a great job. The one thing i was concerned about was why did the coach Lisa would have them do stunts the first time with out mats? My doughter is on a national comp team and they still use mats.
you guys were great. love the uniforms too. wish i could have done this with my high school team. so how do i get to talk to umm, i think his name was, skeeter?
