Somali-born MC K'Naan weighs in on the significance of Black History Month in his life.
Ahh i luv knaan and his musik long live knaan
So much for freedom of speech...MTV pulled my blog. Well as of today, I pull the plug on MTV. There's never any true talent on here anyway....it's the same sh*t coming out of every black man's mouth. They are all carbon copies of one another but yet they claim to be so different and unique. All I hear from each of them is how they hustle drugs, flash their cash, pimp **'s and "make it rain" thus showing how much class they truly lack. Even with all that money....the majority of black men on here are a disgrace to their race. Maybe put that money to better use and take an English class or two. I know you think you sound cool talking ebonics...but it's about time to come out of the ignorant state you've been living in. Ebonics is simply a poor excuse for a failure to grasp the basics of the English language. No more claims of how the white man has been holding you down...we live in a great time where equality has never been so evident. A black man holds the highest seat in this country...so have some respect and do your part to at least try to annunciate when speaking. Now's your chance to strive to be better....no more excuses....and please put away that race card....that **** has expired.
