I was really anticipating the "See You Sunday" line-up. I even went so far as to sign up for an MTV account because I wanted so much to give feedback because it was only 50% acceptable... Fantasy Factory is everything the title suggests- I love it but with a few caveats: Where is Big? Do we get an explanation? Lomar was not a proper substitute because he has not even a fraction of the substance Big does. The factory itself was a dream come true and Rob is just as captivating and fun to watch as always. Such a positive and exciting person. I want to be his best friend. College Humor Show: I have followed CH online for years and these guys are so good, it's nice to see them finally have a show because they deserve it. However, the show did not do them justice- save for Amir and Streeter. Most of the 'cast" just didn't seem comfortable in their new TV environment and are def writers and not actors. Maybe because its not as relaxed and there are more cooks in the MTV mix than before. I hope they do better or Amir & Streeter become the real stewards of the show. The Knoxville produced show pretty much sucked other than Pastrana doing an epic stunt but his personality couldn't carry it. It's like a hick Jackass with less engaging characters and one or two good stunts. But I mean, when you spend 3 minutes on the Tommy guy eating a box of donuts in the shows premiere??? you gotta wonder who the editor is and why that's not on the cutting room floor...answer: not enough good footage. It's no Bam- it's no Jackass it's MTV trying to cling to a format that probably won't work this time around because it's just too pointless and not in the good way. How's Your News?: I used to watch the DVD's with friends when this was a cult classic. Other than the diluted attempt to make it about disabled people following their dreams and being successful, you know that's not what its there for and I fear this risk may backfire. Again, we see the fact there just isn't enough footage and you really can't laugh with them in fear of laughing at them. It turns into a spectacle all too often especially when Bob is interviewing Jimmy Kimmel and you can tell he is even having a hard time riding that fine line of funny/offensive.
