went to the 7 o clock premier last night at the paradiso! this movie was freaking awesome! lived in memphis most of my life, when hustle and flow came out i lived in kansas, (and as bad as this sounds) that damn movie made me homesick. and now living back in memphis, and being active in midtown, this movie has once again made me extremely proud to live here. THIS is the part of memphis everyone nees to see. everyone does an amazing job, congrats!!!

Definitely looks like a winner! It was a pleasure watching Clare Grant in action during the roller derby scene, and I know from previous experience that Amy Lavere will blow 'em all away with her amazing talent. Craig Brewer is an award-winning director and and it was fascinating observing him direct a scene. Can't wait for this to come out!
