Well, the world has come a long way...And still has more ways to go. Katelynn, live your life! Live your dreams...You are who & what you are and be proud of it! Not very many people is given a chance to choose who they want to live as...You re amazing! And for the people you will come across that will condemn you are the ones you must embrace more tightly. And remind them that is was a choice and religion has nothing to do with...Good luck!

From what I know The Bible does not state anything like "I forbid thou to change thy sex". So you can't really say "my religion forbids me to accept transgenders".

I love Katelynn!! She is an amazing person!! She deserves to live her life the way that she wants to!! She has an amazing story and the world needs to hear it! It will open up so many peoples eyes, and I think thats what we need now a days!!

I don't get how people can sit there and tell other people what is right and what is wrong and what should make you happy. A gay guy doesn't wake up one morning and go hmm... I think I'm going to like guys today. It's a sexual attraction just as a straight girl doesn't make a decision to like guys she is just sexually attracted to them. And I personally don't think it should matter who a person is sleeping with, if you like their personality then you like them, but too many people have to know everyone's business before they can say if they like them or not. And as far as the whole religion thing goes I'm a Catholic so being gay is against my religion too, I am not gay but I have gay friends as a Christian you are taught to accept everyone and love everyone and treat everyone as you would want to be treated and by not saying you can't support a gay person and crazy to me? Would you want people making a big deal out of who you like? And not supporting you because you like them? What if someone couldn't support you because you had brown hair or something dumb? Religion is an example but it also hasn't moved out of the first century. We have way more knowledge and technology now then we did then and that's why we now have transgenders and gays. I think it's time people start living their lives and having their own opinions and stop relying on other people or books to give you an opinion.

Try to put yourself in her shoes. What if a majority of everyone was trans and you were the weird "straight" person. What if it was against the majority of everyone's religion in the U.S. to be straight and they expected you to become trans. would you do it? would you feel right not to be yourself anymore because you were supposed to follow the same path everyone else followed? Judge not lest you be judged

well i think she/he is happy and thats all that matters BUT some people like me, have a certain religion which it is wrong. In my personal beleive i think god would have made him a her instead of man inventing the transgender act. But this does not mean i am against it or hate it, its just against my believe and i wish the best to Katelynn to find whatever it is she is looking for in life.

Katelynn is just fine, and is a wonderful person. Kissy570, you need to stop being such an ignorant ****, transgendered people are just like everyone else, just with a little extra surgery. People like you are why anyone is scared to be themselves, because they're just waiting for something rude and nasty to be said about them. It isn't for you to be judging people, especially people who are better than you.
