hey I'm a big mtv fan from mexico, & I always looked at trl like the music television show in the whole planet, I grew up watchin performances from justin, chris brown, madonna, eminem, 50 cent, & now that they decide to call it off its just sad, mtv is dead from now on 2 me... thanks trl & hope u bring something up 2 fill the void that really works out like this trl generation u made and now u end

now that trl's ended they should really change the channel to RTV (reality television lol) and you're right it just wasn't the same after Carson left :( i used to think he was sooo hot!. I hope they start another "music" show soon...

I definitely agree with the girl below. It is sad that they are ending TRL. I grew up on this and idk after carson left it really wasn't MTV anymore. Two reality shows started, the real world and road rules were around for a long long time, and then they got ridiculous with the reality stuff. Now that TRL is gone, what is the point of even having the MTV title. I think for mtv's sake they need to keep TRL put carson back and BOOM we are all set. haha
now kanye west isnt one of my favorites but I do believe that he stated one time that MTV is music television so why do we have all the other stuff on it and now TRL is done? MTV is music televison not reality televison so what is going to be so music about it now? it just pisses me off because there really isnt any music on the channel anymore..sad..
