This mom is going to ruin her daughter for the rest of her life. She is never going to learn to stick with anything if she has her mom right there validating her excuses. I get that she wants to protect her child, but if she really wants to help she will encourage her, support her, and help her reach her goals even if it means pushing her beyond her limits a little bit.
