After not showing at Fashion Week for five years, Diddy and the Sean John team rush to create a new collection that will shock the fashion industry.
Mr. Combs is a very creative person that God sent to the world!!!!
[inside message]MTV should show this over more often instead of showing FNMTV over and over[/inside message]
I dont think Sean John is racist he is trying t make a point...how many runway shows are there were they are dominantly white, It is said that TH is racist but hispanics afro americans are buying his clothes and nobody is saying anything about him are they..My respects to you P diddy you are a very smart man and I strongly admire you for the business man that you are... Ana Denver
Diddys a *** he played tennis in high school and he wears pink and purple cmon already get out of the closet...
I think this shows how quickly we get caught up "busy" work and are distracted from what's important. Instead of him sending money to African countries to get them food and water- why doesn't he try getting his outfits made domestically. All that extra carbon placed into the air for him to flay a single suit around the world is contributing to the droughts and floods in those areas he is trying to "save".- of course this can be said of many rich people not just him.
I loved this documentary, and i have a new respect for Diddy. I think some of you are missing the point on Diddy having all black models. He's not racist or saying that no one else struggles. He is trying to shed light on the lack of respect given to black people in the fashion world. As Diddy said in the documentary, too often American black people are not represented. There are plenty of designers who only call for white models or models with blond hair. Do you consider those designers racist too? Fashion shows have a theme, if he had a bunch of white men walking the runway, you would not have felt the impact. It's a story about an urban BLACK man. It would not make sense to put anyone of another race in the show.
again , beautiful documentary but the racism , UGLY I guess he does not want to sell his clothes to we white people? if we are not good enough to walk in his show then does it mean we are not good enough to wear or buy his clothes? I am a bit confused but not a racist just sad and hurt as I have watched all his shows and admired him for along time but now my admiration has lessened, in a way i feel beat down and people no one is trying to keep you down meaning blacks who are you saying is trying to keep you down? honestly I have never heard anyone say he we have to make sure the blacks dont get anywhere, come on people if you keep the issue alive you are part of the problem and diddy what about EEO are you not discriminating? Diddy you have the potential to help solve this problem by not making it about black and white but hey here is a concept why not make it about a great fashion line? my dad picked cotton also and hes white
I love diddy and all but he is part of the racism problem instead of the solution but his comments, he is keeping it alive, I see Bianca from next top model, who was very nasty on the show, yes she is black but is this who he wants walking in his show? or someone who shows respect and tact? black or white, if he wants to show blacks in a dif light then why use her? frankly I would not even have noticed if he had an all black cast but he is making sure we all know it, it really hurts me and makes me sad, I am white and am discriminated on in almost a daily basis but I dont make a big deal over it, I dont think any less of blacks its all about if you are a good person or not and my dad was white and he picked cotton and whats wrong with that anyway? look I know blacks went through horrible things, unthinkable things but I did not have anything to do with it why keep making whites pay for it? honestly I feel like I am the minority, I cannot get help because I am white and no kids yet what I see going on in the system is unreal and unfair, I think diddy is so talented but why make it about race? does he think whites will want to wear his clothes after the comments? I for one would feel he does not want our business why the hate? i dont get it, so sad to see how rampid this issue still is in 2008 and now i am afraid my admiration of him has diminished
i aspire to be inspired!
just because I am not black doesnt mean i dont know what STRUGGLE means...
just because you are black does not mean you struggle more cuz i know for damn sure other people out there have struggled more than diddy that may or may not be black... and if you call me an idiot for sayin that then maybe you need to think more about yourself and maybe you are the idiot to not open you mind...
You have got me all wrong and i know for damn sure i am not an idiot... I dont like Tommy Hilfigure because of his racist remarks... I do commend diddy for his success and everything but yeah we do live in a racist world but no one should ever be greater than another and i dont care what struggle anyone has gone through... everyone goes through struggles... you act like only black people goes through struggles... open your mind and realize... we are all human... we all struggle... some greater than others but there are many others with greater struggles than diddy who would not say those things... BLACK OR NOT
I myself can't do anything but salute Puff anyone who has an issue with what you said is a complete idiot speak your mind Fam from one black man to another God Bless if you were Hilfiger or another one of these overrated designers who happen to be a few shades lighter than you it wouldn't be an issue. Once again to hell with anyone who has a problem with what you said the idiots probably don't know anything about struggle
I commend Diddy for doing all that he is doing... he is truly inspirational but when he opens his mouth and says stuff like "walk like a black person" and stuff like that is unnecessary because everyone walks like their own selves... not by the race you are... it's disappointing to hear such a great person say things like that... it shouldn't be in ur character to distinguish personalities and traits by race...
Never felt compelled to log in and comment on anything except this video. Diddy I appreciate you for sending a such a positive message in utterly splendid STYLE.
does anyone know how to save theses clips to hard drive??
Diddy is doing big things. Keep up the good work.
YOU REALLY GET TO SEE HOW STRESSFUL IT IS TO PUT ON A SHOW AND HOW HARD HE REALLY WORKS THAT IS WHY HE IS THE KING OF FASHION IN HIP HOP
I was emotionally touched by this video and seeing a dream realized. This was beautiful and innovative more of our young people male and female need to actually see this process on T.V. to inspire them to go after their dreams or goals.
