of all the female hip hop artist out there mary is by far my favorite. she does her thing and is still modest, encouraging and promotes self respect. i get so tired of looking at all the young talent dressed like sluts and talking about sex. thats not what i want to hear and its not what i would want my daughter hearing. but she can listen to mary :)
