Diana is a geeky Anime fanatic who wants to be MADE into a sexy dating diva so she can find her dream date to prom and finally feel like she's had a true high school experience.
I made the anime club at my high school and was the president. i cosplay and attend conventions and event. i've had many boyfriends and dated a lot. you dont need some high maintenance women changing your life because that society says your not cool enough or popular. be your own person and find your self not what she wants you to be.
Everyone around wants their "5 minutes of fame" so yeah she may not have become that popular or changed that much but people are going to notice the girl with the cameras following her around...
Loving this girl :) need make manga about her
Awww. Her and her date looked so good at the end and the kissing part was just adorable. You can like your hobbies and be attractive and flirty! Silly coach. Obviously her and Trey hit it off because they liked similar things. Not all guys want a girl who's totally feminine and just looks good. Who wants a guy that just likes you because you look good? Hobbies make you interesting. But maybe the coach just meant to get her a little less focused on anime and more focused on other things for awhile. Its okay to have fictional crushes, we've all had at least one, whether they be a character in a movie, show, book etc. Played by a real person or a 2d character of any sort. It's all good. But the fact that she had to focus on real boys for a bit I think may have been the point. But who cares, the end result was she and her date looked hot at prom. And that's what she wanted. ;) P.S. other commenters, No, just don't use "kawaii", "ne", ... nothing like that. Just please no. Does not make you "kawaii" Just makes you annoying and awkward. I've gone through that phase in 7th/8th grade. It's just nails on a chalk board. Don't deck yourself out all in anime gear or Japanese stuff either. Cat hats, anime shirt, anime backpack, purse, sweatbands, accessories, then the frumpy jacket, etc. Noooo. I beg you. Look in a mirror. Save yourselves.
Way to go for letting a ***** force you to get rid of your hobbies. To be perfectly honest, I say the ending was majorly scripted. There's no way that she could have made a drastic change and everyone thinks highly of her in just a short amount of time.
I think the coach is wrong by thinking that getting rid of her anime stuff will make her girlier. I love anime and manga and I'm super girly (Ruffles, lace, bows, skirts, dresses, PINK). >____________>
ohmygod OHMYGOD C8
agreeddd!
david = sexxaaay :p
There's alot of things I would like to say about this episode. Now, I relate to this episode because I'm also a big anime fan like Diane. The one thing that really annoyed me was that her coach wanted her to abandon her hobby for anime completely. In my opinion, that is so superficial. Dressing up cute and flirting with boys? Your changing the poor girl's personality! This is coming from someone who dresses really feminine and has a boyfriend. I didn't need to hide my obsession from him. If anything, it started off our relationship, and from there we learned more about each other. MTV, don't think that the only way she can ask guys out is by changing her. You think taking out posters in her room would stop her from talking about anime to people? Really? Oh please. P.S. There's nothing wrong with having a crush on an anime character, especially Edward Elric. It's fun to dream! ;)
"Yeah I want to be made into someone that abandons the hobbies and interests I have and dresses and acts like everyone else." It's not like they made her coach abandon her interests, which include double-sided d ildos and large purses.
wow anime has become so mainstream. I love it! and anime isnt JUST NARUTO PEOPLE! expand you horizons! please i beg youuuu. and dont use KAWAIII too much it makes you come off as a narutard :P peace V^_^V
It was really nice to see the change in her life! I don't know her but I'm really happy for her!
Nice episode, great change.
omg ii really liked thiz episode :]
That.. that really made my day xD Shows how cool anime fans can be, ne? Now only if Vic Mignogna showed up..
That David dude's hot.. <3
i'm not trying to be rude or anything, but why are so many people so into anime? i don't see the big deal in it
the same thing happens to me too, it's so irritating
MTV's Webstie sucks! After every commercial break, of which there are many, The show never starts back up. I must then proceed to refresh the page and then fast forward to where I was, forcing me to watch even more commercials. Aside from this, the website is too overloaded with information and awkward to navigate. On top of this all the video quality is also not great. Who ever is doing the web design should be reconsidered to someone else.
