Aja was always a rare find. I wish the world could have know even more of her. I miss you Aja.
Why is her episode not available? She would want others to view it in spite of what happened
I agree. In honor of Aja, I think you people at MTV should show Aja's episode again. I loved Aja so much and I'm blessed to have met her, gone to school with her, and had her in my life. Her and I shared so much and had a lot of things in common. Now, everytime I hug someone, I'm thinking of her and her wonderful hugs. ^_^
Aja is my niece. We are all so grateful for MTV and the videos we have of Aja. She has always been such a joy and a star in our family. I'm glad the world got to know who she was before she was gone to soon. Aunt Rena P.S. We'd love to have MTV replay Aja episode of Made. There are family members who don't have a copy of the Episode and we would just love for you to play it again as a tribute to her.
I read in the paper this morning that Aja was killed in a car accident, along with three of her friends, on Monday (August 10, 2009). A fifth passenger is in critical condition. My thoughs and prayers are with their friends and family.
RIP Aja i'm sorry i never kept in touch with you after you moved away for La Center. You were always a really nice person and you will be missed. RIP Amanda, Richard, and Jason, you along with Aja will be missed as well. Pray for their families and Dustin.
It is crazy watching this. Remembering high fiving each other at districts cause we both were automatically going to state. I remember how good she was at the events she did. We competed against each other at state. She was a cool person. I will miss you Aja!!
It's so crazy watching this. I remember sitting at UPS with Aja talking to her about American Idol and her dream to be on that show. Her and Chris made the best debate team. My teammate and I were up against them for ParliPro debate and they were amazing. Both Chris and Aja are amazing people. =) I'll miss Aja, she was way too awesome. -Valerie, WFWest Graduate '09
wow, bad news travels fast. i live in a small town close to ridgefeild and when i heard this i was very sad. i say that from now on when they air this episode they need to add an "in memory of Aja Gerrity" or something at the end or something to that effect, as well as adding something about the other victims of the crash. rest in peace Aja.
You are all in our prayers.
R.I.P Aja. Everyone in Ridgefield will miss you. I think that MTV should air her episode again, since at about 11:10 am Monday morning Aja, and three other teens, Amanda Williams, Jason Carter, and Richie Azraia, from my school, Ridgefield High School were killed in a head on collision. They were all pronounced dead on the scene, except for one, Dustin Leitzell, who is on life support. RIDGEFIELD, Wash. – A community is reeling from shock and pain after four Ridgefield students were killed in an accident Monday morning. “Me and a group of my friends were the last people to see him before he went off to the beach and it just sucks,” said Casey Capps, a friend of one of the victims. “I can’t believe it happened.” The accident happened just after 11 a.m. Monday on Highway 30, near Clatskanie. Oregon State Police said Aja Gerrity, 17, was driving an SUV with 18-year-olds Amanda Williams, Jason Carter, Richard Araiza and Dustin Leitzell. Police said Gerrity was trying to pass another car when she lost control, slid broadside into the eastbound lane and was hit in the passenger side by a van. Gerrity, Carter, Williams, and Araiza all died on the scene. Gerrity and Williams were using seat belts, according to police. Troopers are still investigating whether the others were also using seat belts. Leitzell was transported by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel hospital and is in critical condition. Classmates said the group was headed to the coast for one last gathering before they went off to college and furthered their dreams. Friends said Gerrity was on an MTV show last year called Made which follows teens who have a goal and want to make it. Gerrity was to be a member of the speech and debate team. Now, friends and family are coping with the loss of an aspiring performer, cheerleaders and a motorcycle enthusiast. “It’s a lot of good memories that have been lost but I’ll always know that they are there,” one fellow student said.
