Why would they choose to put this girl up for musical theater when she can't sing and said she was not a dancer?!!? And have her audition for RENT which is all about the singing and dancing because lord knows it is not popular because of its rediculous plot or lack thereof. She wanted to be an actress which is a whole different entity. She actually seems to have some potential as an actress, so having her audition for a musical was setting her up to fail. I love MADE and I"m all for people going after their dreams but if you are gonna do this dream bigger thing why guide them down a path that is clearly wrong for them when there are other better paths with real opportunities for success? If you read this Rita please go for plays/movies/TV all of those are viable options for you, stay away from musicals.

Standing up for what you believe in is brave and good in essence, and I command Rita for being able to do so at this young age. However, when your beliefs are this rock solid at this young age there is also a risk of getting completely stuck in your ideas of what's right and wrong. 000aThat, I believe, is a dangerous thing. Because whenever people become fundamental in their beliefs they loose their critical perspectives. It's exactly the kind of getting stuck that leads some people to believe it's OK to judge people in God's place. Or when it becomes more extreme, to think it is OK to fight some holy war in the name of God... on this 9/11 day it is good to not forget that. 000aAnyone wise knows there are always shades of grey, no matter what your beliefs are.

I do think there is something very wrong with a society that very talented people cannot be part of an industry without compromising certain moral standards that used to be widespread and now are really rare. It's okay that she is not comfortable doing those things, and why should she be forced to, to be able to keep up with other talent??

The thing that I admire the most about Rita is that she stood up to her faith. She isn't a HYPOCRITE like many people are and she's not afraid to be who she really is. Cowards allow society change you. And yes she passed on and opportunity(not even that great) But Lots of doors are opening for her. God closes one door and opens up another! Rita I'm PROUD OF YOU!!! And your doing a great job!!!!

Holy cow.. guys and girls... please... PLEASE for the love of anything that is holy... NEVER, EVER, ever EVER pass up an opportunity because "god said so and I'm not supposed to do this blahblah" Jesus christ... NOO god isn't going to disown you because you said a simple cuss word... I know what the scripts are going to have and I absolutely love matt and the training i received but at the time and even still i had just given it up and wasnt at a point where it wouldnt start creeping into my actual life. :) so i stood up for it matt and me are actually really cool
