that "captain" was so bad, shes supposed to be the last one to give up hope, the last one to walk out, no she shiuldnt have walked out in the first place, yet she was the first or one of the firsts like dude why the hell are YOU captain. its your goal you dont give up hope cuz someone walked out, you show them that you DO want it

Yeah, man. That's a good kid... and you know that he learned that from a coach. Our schools today lose sports and the arts, etc., because the funding isn't there. That motivational speech that kid was spittin' to the girls, THAT is what you learn from sports and THAT is just as valuable, if not more so, than what you learn in history or math class. I played rec soccer & swimming, and HS softball, tennis, basketball, and was a cheerleader in high school ('93) and those are the things that kept me coming and kept my grades up for eligibility. They also taught me to be a team player and to respect my teammates. I was team captain and MVP playing softball and I learned leadership. LAWMAKERS AND SCHOOL BOARDS... KEEP SPORTS IN SCHOOLS!
