I really liked this show. Andrea definitely rocks and I wish her all the best in the World. I know she struggles with confidence issues like most of us do and I do believe she will find a way to fit with people who have similar interests like she does. Her group of friends reminds me of a group of people at my college. They all had very interesting hobbies like foreign travel, languages, anime and were artsy and just not conventional. But I also realized they kind of stayed closed off from other people and seemed shy. So my advice is to open a little bit more and also hang out with some positive and interesting people and don't just stay in your comfort zone. I don't think she should change herself and become more conventional but just expand her interestes and find more people she feels comfortable with. College is a much better place than high school and people are more receptive toward others who are different. In the end you find out that other people are not that different from you and are going through similar things that you do. They are not necessarily better, more social or more confident but just different. Embrace that and learn from each other
