I love watching 16 and pregnant its one of my favorite shows, most of these girl are incredible. I've cried on some of these sad stories, like Chelsea I couldn't believe what she went threw and how strong she was, I can only imagine what she felt. If a person could write such hateful words, well then they must not have a heart. I wish chelsea the best.

I absolutely hate how all you people have to say things so cold hearted and cruel. Yeah Janelle needs to grow up and be more of a mother, but you saying things like this isnt going to change anything or make anything difference. It would most likely make things worse.

Lol..oh honey, of course it isn't easy. You have to devote every minute of everyday to your baby. Having a child is different for each mama. I had my son at 16, he started high school this year. He's a straight A student and is very involved in sports and social clubs. I couldn't be more proud. And I did it alone! I promise you this..You'll never love someone so fast that you just met!! Janelle is a piece of garbage. I am blowed by her behavior and ** she can sit there and justify her actions, I hope she will grow up and mature but I have a sick feeling she is going to leave her baby with her mother. She should be ashamed of herself probably the worst mother Ive ever heard of or at least one of the worst, very sorry excuse for a mother, and as a person! I cut some slack due to the fact she was young and EXTREMLY immature but I have no hope for her. She is selfish as they come and does not deserve to have been blessed with a body that can birth a child! The other mothers I think are doing a good job though I think Nikkole needs alot more maturing and let that boy go because he is going to bring nothing but heartach to her and it will eventually effect her child.

Seeing what these girls go through kinda scares me. Im 3 and half months pregnant and ill be 16 in January. I know im a completely different person but it is stuck in my head that having a baby wont be as easy as i thought, even with all the support.

Ok! Talk about an old lady not sure where to post! ~smiles~ I actually signed up for the account after watching the Episode with Chelsea and baby aubree. I wanted to just let you know-Chelsea- that I was incredibly impressed with your genuine and natural move into the role of mother. You have done a wonderful job(and watching made me want to see other episodes!)As someone you dont know, I do hope it encourages you when I say this~ Chin up, never give up. Keep your health and your baby's health at top priority. Stay positive, keep ambition alive(I wish this for all the girls). Being a mom is very hard. But persevere, it gets better(until your daughters hit 14 ~winks~). I was also a teen mom. I had my baby right after my highschool graduation(lucky for me). There was pressure for me to leave school and go to a 'school for moms'. But I didnt, I stayed in my school and participated in my senior year as best I could. I didnt want to, but at the time I was enlisted on welfare to provide for my baby. I started nursing school when she was about 5 weeks old. I stayed in, I worked hard and struggled, cried, when through the loss of her biological father(He was a..He decided not to be involved). I did miss out on 'going away for college' because I chose to stay near my baby. I missed out on the parties and such- which honestly..in the long run..they dont mean much, really. Sorry, I dont mean to go into blah blah.. I just wanted to say how proud I felt for you and your family. Aubree will be a stronger woman one day as she watches you succeed. Congratulations, truly and stay strong. The baby I had at age 17 is now successful in the Navy and recently has given me my very first grandbaby. Another beautiful girl. Believe in you! peace~ ohh and yes I got off the welfare program as soon as I finished my first year in nursing school and got my first real job as a nurse. You are never 'trapped in the system' unless you choose to be there.

I watch this show because I can relate, I am 30 now and my son is about to turn 13. The best advice I can give you is to stay in school. I was in the same boat many years ago and I wanted to change my sons father so bad well I didn't accomplish that what so ever he actually ended up on death row, so that goes to show you that they only change if they want to. If I could go back in time I would have never left school it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. You seem to have very supportive friends and parents and some don't have that so keep moving forward with your future and it will work out. My son and I now have so much fun together even though its still hard sometimes but it was worth every hard time to me to see him smile everyday and know that I made the right choice by having him.....goodluck

Chelsea is a great mom and was great to see her change the last name to show her ex that he doesnt deserve to have a child with his name if he is going to act like a child himself. Your group of 16 and pregnant girls should have considered doing a teen mom 2 show so that people could keep up with how all of you are doing. Best of luck for you and ur daughter.

I hope aubree finds a father figure in her grandfather, adam is a worthless peice of sh*t. I'm glad the world got to see his horrible attitude towards his own child and the mother of her, hope he has a hard time in life becuase of this.

Jenelle is so irresponsable.....she doesnt deserve to have a good mom on her side helping her......if it wasnt for her mom she would be ruined......be more thankfull for what you have and take more responsability for your child......just cuz ur going to college dosent mean you have no responsability for your child.........Maci from season one is doing a wonderful job at being a single mom.....she is independent and goes to college and has a job.......jenelle stop being such a baby and take care of your child.......he is your responsability, not your moms.
