I love this song. And that’s coming from the GUY in this song. I had an amazing girlfriend in high school; smart, funny, gorgeous – she modeled, and she was totally into me. But I was a STUPID kid and didn’t appreciate how good I had it. On a school trip without her, I cheated with a girl I never saw again. I was so STUPID. Of course word got back to my girlfriend and she dumped me – as she was right to do. I begged her to take me back for 2 years until I went to college. Now, years later, I still think of her all the time. (She’s in the back of my mind.) I wonder how my life might have turned out better if I hadn’t been such a stupid, cheating fool. Seriously, my life went down hill after that incident. But I learned a valuable lesson and I’ve never cheated on anyone since. And I’ve been cheated on, too, which serves me right, I guess. Take my advise guys: treat your girlfriends better than you think they can possibly deserve because they deserve more than you can possibly give. And don’t cheat on your girlfriend ever no matter what!
