Vinny is an inspiration! I was diagnosed w/ generalized anxiety disorder & depression in HS, then later w/ ADHD-PI (non-hyperactive, predom inattentive type which I think is WORSE!) B/c Vinny DOES have anxiety, I undrstnd & can relate (esp w/ the ITAL fam wrk ethic!) when he says he felt impending doom/scared all day that makes u isolate & then u emotionally avoid feeling anything which over-time causes ur brain to decompensate. Thx for bringing awareness to anxiety Vin. I'm so buying ur book!!
Anxiety can be crippling and I appreciate your candidness and insight into the issue. It is hard to explain to people who do not have it, because it causes a muriad of reactions in others. I hope you got on track quickly and again appreciate you spotlighting the subject!
I just hope you get better and come back to the shore house and I was crying because Vinny was leaving because he is my favorite person on the show and I like him a lot.

I think the fact Vinny had anxiety (like i do) shows how HUMAN he is, unlike the others who i am convinced are robots fueled by beer and sex.
i do believe vinny has anxiety, like they say it takes one to know one. and as he said in the end "this is not for me right now, i want to get better NOW so I CAN COME BACK and do this" he pretty much said he was goin to return after a while.
Heyy i felt bad that you left. i had tears in my eyes. i had anxiety two when my mom passed away but i'm good with talking with my family they understand thank goodness
I usually never comment on these, but I can relate to Vinny 100%. I have anxiety, and started seeing a therapist a year ago. It really helped, and I'm glad Vinny was helped! I know exactly how he feels.

He describes this pretty well. It is a feeling that you really just cant explain. Then depression sinks in. I go thru this too :) I like his outlook on how it has its benefits. However, dealing with it, when its happening is a hard thing to do.
Yeah i truly know what Vinny's going through, and i soo hope he comes back to the Seaside Heights cause I honestly only watch Jersey Shore for Him and Pauly cause they actually make the show and w/o him its like sucky. Best wishes vinny :DD
