Holly's mom is afraid that her daughters will remain unhealthy and overweight if a change is not made. Can Holly lose weight while handling the pressure of her family?

It made me feel so good to see her mother involved. I love that her whole family learned to be healthy. Hey You are an example!! good work girl!
why I cant se the Episodes
Mollie that is so awesome you are taking care of yourself. It's hard to put ourselves first because we are told it is selfish to focus on ourselves first, but if we don't take care of ourselves first we can't take care of anyone else first. Mollie you can do this. It just is taking a consistent comittment to ourselves each day... one step at a time. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I know you will achieve what you set your mind 2
I am 5ft7 and 215lbs.I'm disgusted with myself as to how I've let myself go.I have many health issues that I'm trying to get under control.Being unable to digest raw fruits, vegetables and some meats is difficult at times.I'm taking this summer off from college to focus on my well being and getting back in shape.I'll have these problems regardless of my weight, but if losing weight makes me that much healthier, I'm all for it! This episode has been so helpful and encouraging.Yall are awesome!!!!
why is her mom such a negative nancy?
oh!men...please make this available in our region!!!
Sugar in CHILI? Must be a southern thing.
Im the same height as her and I weigh around 145, what shes trying to get down to. I'm not even satisfied with my weight. I want to lose 15 pounds and it's so hard. ugh i need a trainer!
Chris is a great trainer but I feel like he couldve been harder on her. She whines a lot.
My mother is similar to Holly's. Even though I am now an adult (and have been for a while) she focuses more on my weight then hers. It took me a long time to get over that. I am now losing weight for me and for my health. I applaud Holly's bravery and stick to it-ness !
Hey Chris, you seem like an awesome trainer! And i really need your help. I will be 17 in a couple of months and i am 5'3" and i weigh about 182 i've already lost 5lbs within the last 2 weeks. I just feel like i seriously need some help because i know that my body isn't where it should be and i feel as if my health is slowly deteriorating, it just needs to stop! Please any advise, extra inspiration, because sometimes i feel like giving in!
Hey
Danielle have you ever had a food journal and written down exactly everything you have put in your mouth. Unawareness is the mother of all problems. When you are aware of what you are doing you can then see if that is where you need to make a change. Get a notebook and begin writing down everything you put in your mouth. We can add calories and protein and carbs later... the thing is to become aware of what you ARE doing to see if there need to be any augmentations. let me know how it goes
No problem Caren... you are a strong woman... God intended for you to be happy and successful. Believe in yourself and in the power you already have within you. You can be and do anything you set your mind to... just stay consistent with positive thoughts and beliefs in who you TRULY are. It will get easier the more you focus on your strengths... one step at a time... you don't have to make huge bounds at once... it is all a process. Have u in my thoughts and prayers
Thank you, that seriously means a lot to me.
well right now i go to the gym everyother day and run on the treadmill for 15 minutes(i know i should do it longer) and then i go on the ellyptical for 20 minutes. Then i do weights at the end. On the other days I do the insanity workout DVDs! I think i exercise enough but my diet might be lacking. I try to eat healthy like cutting out sugar and processed foods but I probably eat too many calories of other stuff! I really dont know...
and build upon them. It's much easier to work on what we are good at than to focus on what is wrong... it keeps us in the negative feeling and will keep us inactive towards our goal. You have got this! What are you doing currently and what do you believe has been holding you back from your true potential?
