An internet entrepreneur looks for a new project manager.
I think there is a fallacy in believing that you must touch all social media to be considered competent. I think any candidate would need to know the benefit of and the synergistic qualities a client can gain from the various components of social media. the kid from turkey just didn't seem to be able to convey this which is why she didn't get a chance at the 'bite of the apple' (the interview). I think that it will be common that social media types will become reticent about sharing their own personal blog/twitter feeds as the field grows.....i've interviewed people who have denied having a blog based on the fact that it was more personal and less professional (the person was blogging about using company time to pursue a passion --- in this case writing a screenplay)....while we ended hiring the person for our team it made perfect sense that during an interview you wouldn't highlight jerking off during company time.....
i was not impressed with the way Kari sat. lol. it wasn't very ladylike. and Patrick didn't seem like he had a very.. engagin personality. Phil was my favorite!
How could you be qualified for a social media job if you don't blog or have a twitter account!?
