The crew talks to Swizz Beatz in the studio, and Kendrick Lamar performs for the Hip Hop POV audience.
but sales is a way to kind of get a statistic of whose listening. I agree with you in a way but to say that sales is irrelevant to the reverence of hip-pop isn't plausible...idealistic maybe, but not true. But this show could add a few unheard but greatly talented to the list of conversation but if the world is not ready for them, they aint gonna buy their music... at the end of the day its still a business.
why are their opinions on platinum records? just because a song or album makes platinum does not make it good. When people base their judgement on sales that's when I know you aint listening to music so you should not even judge or be on this show. Making everyone that watch this believe that nonsense too which is wrong. We need to teach people to listen to the music and not watch the sales. Hip-Hop and Rap is not based on sales.
