this is one of my fave songs!!! it so describes my relationship with my dad at the moment...he crrently sufferd a severe accident and part of his brain was damaged...now 3months later n he can only move one side of his body, his head, and moves his eyes...he cant speak but i kno he knos who i am..."but though ur still with me, i've been alone all along!!!" i miss u daddy...

the first time i listened to this song it made me think of all the great time me and my bestfriend had together before she stabbed me in the back. the song sums up what happened to me an my friend i waz always there for her and i tried to make her feel better wen she cried. thiz song is on my ipod and i always listen to it maybe ill find a friend that i can be there for like before or ill try to make things better wit my other friend who waz like family to me before everythin happened.

What a beautiful and powerful sound!! Great vocals Amy!! The meaning here is a bit vague still. Did the person she love and sacrifice for commit suicide, thereby leaving a "haunting memory?" Or... did he/she just walk away and never come back? Hmmm... food for thought... d:o

i remember when this sonq first came out ; i had just lost my best friend (fiquratively) & when ever this sonq would come on tv or the radio it would brinq back soo many memories & would just isolate myself from everyone & cry all my emotions out to this sonq just thinkinq of all that we had been throuqh , all those times i sacrificedd my time to let her cry on my shoulders , & that i would brinq her joy when she was down & depressed , stick up to my own family defendinq her & then how she just turnedd around & walkedd away leavinq a huqe knife in my back :' ( this may be a sonq that brinqs soo many bad memories but its worth the 4 minutes & 31 seconds because this is one of the most beautiful sonqs i have heard that is pure , without technoleqy to enhance it or anythinq , just amys voice & the piano ; now that TRUE talent :) & thats somethinq i admire alot in any artist .

THIS SONG WOULD BE PERFECT FOR NEW MOON (2ND BOOK OF TWILIGHT) WHEN YOU REALLY READ THE BOOK AND THEN REALLY LISTEN TO THE SONG IT GOES TOGETHER SO FREAKIN PERFECT.
