I think he's trying to make a point about celebrity and mass media. He is trying to shock people and get their attention. I think it's cool that at least he has a deeper message in his music, unlike a lot of popular artists.

This is my favorite song of all time. Eminem keep doing what you are doing. For those like myself that have been through **** in our lifes you give us a voice. I know what it's like growing up without a dad and being put down your whole life. Like I said before keep doing what you are doing.

There is absolutly nothing to critize in sheer poetry! He has true talent and a raw genius I miss,It was refreshing to hear his unique voice and his sidekick Dre-good to see they are still faithful it's hard to see that these days.....I hope he puts out more tracks and does not disapear again....His lyrics completely sum up perfectly his messege...Thanks Em

For those of you saying what does he thinks he's above the celebrity bashing. He was making fun of himself from when he used to wear an alf shirt!!! He made fun of himself in his own song. And this song isnt even really about making fun. He's calling them a "Rock Star" and making points into why they are the way they are or doing the stupid things they do. Saying you're a rock star, REALIZE IT!!!
