I have seen Elton in Concert 23 times and shook his hand once when I gave him flowers on stage. I gave him a card of appreciation and since it had my address, he sent me a personalized autographed photo specifically thanking me for the flowers, which he had strewn on top of his piano. I have heard him sing “Your Song” many times and this is his best performance of it. Of all songs by any artists, this is my favorite of all time. Elton encouraged me to play the piano and sing. I have performed this song more than any other and to each person I have ever loved; I sang it at my own wedding. I will never tire of hearing it or playing it for people. You’d have to be a musician to understand it never gets boring to perform the same songs over and over. I’m sure Elton has the same emotions I do when I play it after hundreds of times.

One of Bernie Taupin's masterpieces, what a great song writer. And Elton, what a fabulous singer. I have loved his music since the 1970's.
