Of bands that sound too much like a band befor them, e.g. Alice In Chains & Godsmack, Earshot is cool because they sound like Tool but at the same time they don't. I'm a big, big fan of Tool and that alone is kinda saying something. Most Toolians would shun them automatically, but maybe Tool was a huge inspiration to them?

I think they are trying to hard to sound like Tool and yet they are still good in their own right. I guess imitation is the biggest form of flattery right.
