I am a country music fan. I am a retired military member who believes that even if Natalie does not respect the man, she should respect the office. All that being said, this is the most outstanding video I have ever seen. The video and the â€śTaking the Long Wayâ€ť album demonstrate the bands willingness to stick together, and go forward, despite tremendous pressure and condemnation. The stark white, then mixing in black images highlight the desire for some people to see the world as absolute right or wrong. The initial black smear being replaced with black and white outfits accepting what has happened. The use of red behind the "accusers" shows how far some people were ready to go. The various ways that society tries to treats an individual who goes outside acceptable bounds. All these complement one of the most poignant declarations of an individualâ€™s â€śrightâ€ť to exercise the freedoms which this country was founded on.
