Take a few Sociology, Psychology, Social Work and Education courses in college and then you'll understand. It's simply not that simple. Chris Brown had ONE unfortunate incident with ONE female on ONE night. He's neither a prior nor repeat offender. He's also received (and successfully served) one of the stiffest sentences for his crime that other men (of all races, ages, social and economic backgrounds) have ever (or shall I say: have NEVER) had with similar offences. Also, lest not forget - HE WAS 19 YEARS OLD when this all happened! I, for one, will continue to cheer his accomplishments, growth and development. People with his past need to know it's "worth it" to change. It benefits the women he'll have contact/relationship with from that point forward - and women benefit society.
