The show is actually real, but there is always that possibility of it being a guy if you think you're talking to a girl, or vice versa. He mentioned that because Tyler's friends are the ones that had actually mentioned it could have been a guy, and Nev wanted to ask what they would do if that actually was the case - - they'd never let him live that one down.

I rewatched this episode cause it bugged me I couldn't figure out why Tyler looked SO familiar. Until I saw a picture of my dad from his teenage years and they are IDENTICAL with Tyler. Weird

We dont know if hes racist or not so we shouldnt pass judgement like he is. Although he shouldnt have said it like that. And race shouldnt matter when it comes to dating. Im black and i dont care what race you are. If youre open-minded and nice then were good.

Here's my thing that makes me think this show is staged... Nev says right to Tyler's friends "What would you guys do if he's been talking to a guy?" So he already had a huge feeling it was a guy, so really? STAGED imho....

I feel bad for Tyler, yet i don't because he should have gotten to attach to someone that wouldn't even call them. If she wouldn't find a way to communicate with him , than why give her a chance? All this technology, AND A LAPTOP, but no phone, really. like use a pay phone of something.
